Prince Diamond and the rest of the crew are haunting Rini's dreams, which takes place in the future, where she doesn't know the scouts or Sailor Moon. But after Sailor Moon saves Rini from falling in a crevise, she trusts them and helps them.
The voice of the Luna Ball, Pu, is really Sailor Pluto, who guards the doorway of Time. She tells the Scouts they must travel through time, to the future, to save Rini.

The Luna Ball in which Rini speaks to, is actually Trista Meioh, Sailor Pluto, although her voice sounds different like Luna's. You can see her outline.

Grim Man and the Grim Reaper:
The Grim Man looks an awful like the Grim Reaper. The Grim Reaper is a reaper that transports souls to either hell or heaven. Although he wasn't after Rini's soul, he still looks like him. (edit)
