Sally Jessy Raphael, was born in Easton, Pennsylvania on Feburary the 2nd 1943 to her parents one an artist, the other a businessman. Sally lived in New York until the age of 12, when the family moved to Puerto Rico where Sally's father started his own business. Since Sally Jr.'s father had a heart condition, most of the families income slowly dissapeared. Since Sally was little she developed an interest in media, and earned some experience in High School hosting, a radio station. She earned a Broadcasting degree at Columbia University.
