It's been announced that the US Sci-Fi channel and the UK ITV4 channel will air "Sanctuary" later this year, but it's not clear to me exactly what they will air. One guess might be they'll use the 8 initial Webisodes as a pilot episode (either double length or spread over 2 weeks) and then continue the story after that - for a dozen or so 42-minute episodes? I'm automatically assuming that US Sci-Fi will air it in HD of course...
The Webisodes were good, but each one was a bit short and the cost of buying it seemed quite high for the total running time. It also didn't help that they inevitably got "leaked" onto more public areas of the Net, which probably didn't help sales (so kudos to Sci-Fi for picking up the show in spite of that).
