Woody: Grady, would you believe I never used to drink before I married Esther?
Grady: Yeah, Woody, I hate to tell you this, but you had to be drunk to marry Esther. (edit) Woody: Uh, say Grady, I was thinking. Would it be possible to uh, get a little shot of something? Just a little toddy for my body.
Grady: That body is so shoddy it don't need no toddy. (edit) Grady: You've got to put Esther in her place.
Woody: And where's that?
Grady: On the receiving end of your foot! (edit) Grady: My mother was a lady. I don't care how much she would have wanted to protest, she never would have burned her bloomers. (edit) Grady: They should be in a woman's domain.
Lamont: And I suppose that you think that's "barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen" right?
Grady: Nope. "Barefoot, naked, and in the boudoir."
Lamont: You know what, you a dirty old man. And all this time I thought that you were a clean old man
Grady: I'll be a clean old man when I'm a dead old man! (edit) Aunt Esther (to Grady): When you see that Woodrow, you tell him that his behind is grass ... And I am the lawn mower! (edit)
