Should Pushing Daisies Stay on the Air?

    The ratings for Pushing Daisies so far this season have been very low and we believe that ABC may be on the verge of cancelling the show. If you have never watched the show, then I recommend that you check it out because it is a completely unique series that provides a breath of fresh air to Prime Time television.

    Fans of the show are currently working on a pre-emptive campaign to convince ABC to keep the show on the air. The first thing we are doing is the most obvious: we are going to send daisies to ABC. I am currently accepting donations at my PayPal account set up with the following Email address: paulswhite@mail.com. I will accept donations throughout the week and then place an order every few days when we have enough for a good shipment of daisies. Please send your donations so that we can start filling up the ABC offices with flowers! (Note that if another fan group has set up a similar campaign to this, let me know and I will be happy to work together with you.)

    For other ways to support the show, check out the Blogger site that I have set up at http://savepushingdaisies.blogspot.com/. With the support of the fans, we may just be able to keep this original and enjoyable show from going off the air.

    The first shipment of daisies is away!!!

    I just placed the order for the first shipment to be delivered on Monday, November 3rd. I ordered three daisy arrangements from 1-800 Flowers. Following is the message that I included with the shipments:

    The fans of Pushing Daisies would like to brighten your day with this shipment of daisies. We hope that you continue to brighten our days by keeping our beloved show on the air.

    Merchandise Amount: $107.97
    Service Charge: $13.99
    Tax: $10.06
    Order Total: $132.02

    Note: If anybody knows of another flower delivery service that might be cheaper (but still provide good quality) or a local vendor that would work with us, please let me know. I am using 1-800 Flowers because they are convenient (quick, easy online ordering). Also, I am sending arrangements instead of bulk shipments of daisies because I am worried that the bulk shipments might get thrown away. I figure that they can place the arrangements around their offices and/or take them home.

    Over $1,300 in donations so far. This overwhelming fan support has done a great job of sending the message to ABC that we want Pushing Daisies to continue.
