After Scooby-Doo and the rest of the gang go to Australia for a music contest at Vampire Rock, they learn from the promoters that a legendary monster called the Yowie Yahoo is kidnapping the groups entered. When they go undercover as “Those Meddling Kids” to find out what’s going on, Scooby and the gang discover that a group who placed third the year before is behind the mystery.
Excited at the opportunity of going to Mexico for the country's Day of the Dead festivities, Scooby and the gang get more than they bargained for when they learn from their hosts how "El Chupacabras" is scaring away the citizens of the surrounding villages. It is at this point that they decide to investigate the mysterious goings on in order for the village’s celebration to go on as planned.
When Scooby and the gang meet a famous horror writer by the name of Ben Ravencroft, he invites them to his hometown to view the Fall color. However, when they arrive, they find that a witch's ghost is haunting Oakhaven and that it is an ancestor of Ben's. Along the way, while investigating the mystery, Scooby and the gang meet the local eco-goth rock band, the Hex Girls, and with their help, they eventually find that there's more to this mystery than it meets the eye. When they learn that Ben has teamed up with his ancestor to seek revenge on the citizens of the town, they work with the townspeople to stop Ben and the witch.
What a predicament! The Amazing Krudsky, a failed carnival magician, steals the light magic from Princess Fairy Willow, and Scooby-Doo and Shaggy must stop him or everyone will be turned into horrible Halloween monsters! Our heroes board the Grim Reaper Railroad into the fantastic world of Halloween Land to retrieve the powerful Goblin Scepter from the Goblin King before midnight. Along the way, they encounter the infamous Headless Horseman, the helpful Jack O'Lantern and a frisky broomstick that takes them on the ride of their afterlives. Besides the Mystery, Inc. regulars, the Guest Vocal Cast is a Halloween Hoot, including Lauren Bacall, Tim Curry and Heroes' Hayden Panettiere. Your house will shake with enchanted creatures and weird worlds in this merry animated adventure!
