  • After constant disagreement with team bosses, Scott was replaced in the Toro Rosso team mid-way through the 2007 season by Sebastian Vettel.(edit)
  • In July 2007, it was revealed Scott might be on the verge of quitting Scuderia Toro Rosso - claiming that he can no longer work with team principals Gerhard Berger and Franz Tost. Speaking to speedtv.com, Scott claimed that 'you couldn't pay me enough money to race for those two people again' as simmering tension between STR and both its drivers came to a head at a dramatic 2007 European Grand Prix. Scott and team-mate Tonio Liuzzi were both caught out by the sudden change in conditions early in the race, ending their challenge in the barriers at turn one. But, when Scott returned to the pits, he was confronted by Tost, with a verbal exchange turning physical.(edit)
  • At the 2007 European GP, Scott revealed how he dealt with visitors to the Toto Rosso team's motor home who kept using toilets that are reserved for the drivers. He put up a sign that read: 'Are you one of the ridiculously good looking drivers of Toro Rosso? Are you a hot bird accompanied by one of the ridiculously good looking Toro Rosso drivers? If not, then this bathroom is NOT for you'.(edit)
  • In April 2007, it was revealed that Toro Rosso bosses deliberately made Scott wait for his 2007 contract in order to instil in him a more 'professional attitude'. Gerhard Berger confirmed speculation to reporters that the long delay was a ploy in reaction to Scott’s laid back approach to his rookie season in F1.(edit)
