Under narration of Scout, she tells the story of their day, shared with Tyler, Bongani, and Tally, as they are walking back to the lodge, looking pretty messy and tired out. Turns out Tyler and Scout broke a picture hanging on the wall at the lodge and find a treasure map, which follows a story of burried gold. They go through the trouble of being stalked, jumping off a cliff into a river to avoid rhinoes, and the unknowns of tall grass to find their gold. The search challenges their friendships as each get fed up with each other. In the end, they find a man who tells them the maps were fabricated and has a whole chest of them to prove it. In disbelief, they trudge back to the lodge. As Scout looks back one last time, the man smiles and seems to reveal gold teeth to Scout, stunning her that the gold could have been real.
