The Tamarack Screech Owls are one of the great contenders of the Lapine Cup. They play hockey as amazing as they solve mysteries that are occuring in the town of Tamarack. These problems sometimes cut into their hockey games, and they do not play as well as they should. Their goals are to win as many games in their season and playoffs and train harder. The series was nominated for "Best Children's or Youth Program or Series" at the 16th Gemini Awards in 2001 while Jonathan Malen was nominated at the Young Artist Awards.
Travis Lyndsay- The 5'0", 103ilbs captain plays left wing, wears the no.7 Jersey and he shoots left. He has lots of natural ability and has good leadership skills. He's a great skater and stickhandler. Travis's favourite sports are hockey, lacrosse, snowboarding, mountain biking and all water sports. He enjoys reading and strives to do better at school.
Sarah Cuthbertson- The 5'5", 116ilbs. centre wears the no.9 Jersey and shoots left. The best skater and one of the best point-scorer on the team. Sarah is also considered one of the best upcoming female players in hockey. Sarah enjoys school, reading, snowboarding, wakeboarding, basketball, and animals.
Wayne Nishanian- The 5'4", 148ilbs. Defence has the no.44 on his jersey. He shoots right and has a knack for dramatic goals and trouble. He keeps his eye on the ice, passes well, and tries to concentrate very hard on playing. Nish likes collecting hockey cards ("particularly his own!"), weekends, convenience stores, T-Shirts, professional development days at school, pranks, baseball, roller-blading, cartoons, and alternative music.
Simon Milliken- The smallest and most fearful Screech Owl but he is the hardest working player on the team. He has the smarts to do well in school. Also loves Jellybugs

Night At The Opera
Aired: Sunday February 10, 2002
A popular band, Wave is in town to record a song and the old opera house is chosen for it's acoustics. But it's been closed for years because it is rumoured to be haunted. When the band's producer has a mysterious encounter, the session is abruptly ended. The Screech Owls must find out about the ghost that Simon saw in the opera house and they discovered a lot of information about the band's producer. He stole music from many artists such as the one hiding in the opera house, who was believed to be dead, and he was trying to record music from Wave, so he can steal the lyrics.
