On the morning of Turk and Carla's wedding, the families are meeting and J.D. is trying to make amends with Elliot. Distracted by her rage at J.D., Elliot accidentally waxes Carla's sister's eyebrow right off. To celebrate Turk's wedding, J.D. and Turk play a round of tennis golf, with Turk caddying naked.
Turk is working on his wedding day so he can have an extra two days for their honeymoon, and Dr. Miller is still mad that she isn't allowed to come. J.D. tries to talk to Elliot but she ignores him.
Dr. Cox prepares to go to the wediing but Jordan convinces them to sleep through the ceremony instead and show up at the reception.
At the church, Danni crashes, on the condition that she goes halfsies on a gift with J.D., and starts making out with Doug, and later Ted, who's band is playing for the wedding.
While Turk is performing an appendectomy, they run into a problem and Turk has to phone as he is going to be late for the wedding. When Carla announces this, J.D. uses this spare time to go and convince Sean to take Elliot back but he never gives a definitive answer.
With another wedding scheduled soon, Dr. Miller finally decides that Turk's suffered long enough and let's him get to his wedding. Turk races there but he gets to the wrong church, and the wedding ceremony is over.
At the reception, The Worthless Peons are sick from the shrimp, Turk and Carla aren't married and Elliot is still furious at J.D. Dr. Cox arrives and tells Carla what a beautiful ceremony it was, pushing her over the edge. Dr. Kelso decides to get drunk at the open bar and Turk convinces the band to play some music, paying them double, which isn't as much as you'd think. Sean arrives and starts an awkward conversation with Elliot, but while both want to give it another shot, Elliot tells him that she chose J.D. because she mistakenly thought he was the one and that Sean would need to understand that. Sean doesn't accept this but takes solice in the fact that both got their hearts broken, before going home with Danni.
Dr. Cox apologises to Carla and convinces her that how and when they get married shouldn't matter, and Carla goes back to Turk and forgives him. Elliot still resents J.D. and Dr. Kelso is wasted. On the way to their honeymoon, Turk and Carla stop by to check on his patient, who turns out to be a priest, proving Karma can happen. They get married in the hospital room, while J.D. and the Janitor take a passed out Chief of Medicine out to the dumpster.
