It is revealed in this episode that Ted lost his hair in eighth grade. However, in My Fifteen Minutes, the eighth episode of the first season, Ted mentioned that when he started his job as the hospital's legal counsel, he had hair, a wife, and kids. This leads one to the absurd conclusion that Ted attended eighth grade after becoming the hospital's legal counsel and had also somehow gotten married and had kids before even reaching high school. edit »
