When Turk finds out that J.D. and Carla kissed, he is furious, and while the two try to convince him that it was barely more than a friend kiss, Turk lets them know that he will eventually get over it in time.
When Pablo calls Jordan maam, she is horrified and decides to botox her face. Unfortunately, this is the very same day that Dr. Cox is given an award by his interns and is mad at Jordan for doing this to him, and Jordan then refuses to go at all. Dr Cox then visits a patient who he thinks he has a rapport with, a sixteen year old girl who is embarrassed to be spoken to when Dr Cox tries to act like a teenage girl to her. When Elliot confronts him about not acting that way around her, Dr. Cox refuses to believe her, and when she tells him that Lindsay hasn't been taking medication, Perry goes into the room and starts yelling at the patient and telling her that she'll be dead if she doesn't take it. Lindsay later starts crying, leading Dr. Cox into a guilt trip.
The Janitor forces Dr. Kelso to get him a new uniform by annoying the Chief of Medicine by waxing what he uses. Kelso finally buckles and gets him a new blue uniform. While proud to own it at first, the Janitor finds a consequence with the new uniform. Rather than fearing him, the staff come up and be nice to him and don't respond to his threats. Dr. Kelso tells him that particular colour evokes a calm and nurturing side of people, leaving the Janitor with a tough decision.
When Turk starts daydreaming about Carla and J.D. making out, he snaps at them both, and after a while chooses Carla as the one he is mad at and gives her the silent treatment. J.D., while glad he is back on Turk's good side at first, realises that he should have helped Carla's relationship by taking the hit. He goes up to Turk and lectures him on all the bad stuff he's done during his marriage with Carla and tells him to forgive her.
Dr Cox enlists Elliot's help in cheering up Lindsay, so Elliot takes this as being the boss of Perry and orders him not to speak during the conversation. She tells Lindsay a high school hair story, much to Cox's annoyance and convinces her to start taking the medication again. When Dr. Cox asks Elliot how she knew to do that, Elliot says that all women have an insecure teenage girl inside her, prompting Cox to realise just why Jordan got the botox. He shows up at the apartment and decides that he'll stay in with Jordan instead of accepting the award, causing Jordan to almost smile.
The Janitor is pushed too far and changes back to his old "feared in grey" uniform, however in his private life enjoys wearing the blue clothes at the park as a compromise.
Turk forgives Carla and they are all comfortable living together again, but J.D. decides to move out anyway so the couple can have their space.
