Turk is not comfortable around Molly because she examines people's head. J.D. has daydreams about everybody trying to kiss him so they all leave. His brother Dan comes to visit J.D. and brings him the news that their Dad has passed away.
Dan offers that he will be there for him if he needs anything. They don't believe him and soon he finds himself in the bathtub drinking beer. Dr. Kelso is angry with the Janitor for renting a huge expensive crane to fix the air condition. Carla and Molly wake up Turk from his nap on the sofa, because he missed the host of the Love Connection in the hospital. He says he has been sleeping more lately and also gained some weight. J.D. needs to rescue Dan from drowning and also complains it wasn't easy to shower while he was in the shower. He prepared a six-pack of beer in the toilet with some ice. Dr. Kelso talks about a 55-year old Alzheimer patient and the Janitor overhears him, asking if he is 55-years old too. Dr. Kelso doesn't see the point of his question. Everyone at the hospital feels for J.D. Carla tells Turk to the doctor as he needs to pee all the time. Molly pays him a visit on the bathroom and asks him about a patient with the same symptoms as Turk and he realises that he has Diabetes. He goes to see the doctor who confirms his Type II Diabetes. Dr. Cox takes all of J.D.'s patients so he has the day off. He also tapes Dan on the bathroom wall so he doesn't drown. Dr. Kelso can't find his car where he believes it was parked. As he walks away, the janitor lowers the car with the crane and pull himself up. J.D. talks to Dan about their dad. Turk lies about his illness. J.D. tries to talk to Dr. Cox who is swamped due his extra patient load. He mentions this to J.D. who replies that he didn't ask for that kind of treatment. Elliot recommends giving J.D. a hug for a change as she can't do it due to their break-up.
Ted and Dr. Kelso enter his office and the janitor kidnaps Ted through the window, making Dr. Kelso further believe his mind is giving up. Dr. Cox offers J.D. a hug but J.D. thinks he's just making fun and pushes him around. Dr. Cox ends up punching him in the face. Carla bakes a cake for Turk but he still hasn't told her about the diabetes. The janitor lowers Ted into Dr. Kelso's car and Ted was told to tell Dr. Kelso "thanks for inviting me to your house for dinner". Dr. Kelso is unsure whether or not he said that. Dr. Cox is looking for J.D. and finds Dan instead, still in the bathtub. They agree he needs help. Turk apologizes to Molly for calling her "Devil woman" and asks her profile on him. Molly knows that if he tells Carla about his diabetes, she will no longer see the superman in him.
Dan and Dr. Cox visit J.D. and watch a football game together. Dr. Cox is proud of J.D., and so is Dan. Dr. Kelso apologizes to the janitor for being so hard on him, but lowers the bench he is sitting on and leaves him there for the week-end. Turk tells Carla about his diabetes and she has already prepared everything from recipes to diet ideas. Dr. Cox, J.D. and Dan reminisce about Mr. Dorian and toast to him one final time.
