When J.D. rearranges his schedule to allow himself more time to spend with Turk, Turk secretly resents hanging out with J.D. in that time, because it interferes with his own "Turk Time".
Meanwhile, Dr. Cox and Jordan go on a double date with Elliot and Keith, and Carla covers for Dr. Kelso at work, as he grieves for his dead dog.
Later, a patient almost dies after giving up part of his liver for his brother, and the hospital staff learns about making sacrifices for the people they really care about. Add a recap »

- Since the Dudemeister translation doesn't work in German, they changed the dialogue in the German dubbed version to "I checked it's also on his birth certificate". edit »
- Featured Music:
"Brick House" by Commodores
"I Hear You Knocking" by Chris Bailey
"Koyaanisqatsi" by Philip Glass
"I'll Be Around" by Bobby Bare, Jr.
"Take Another Step" by Keren DeBerg edit » - In the flashback where J.D. and Turk "change skin-colours", you can see J.D. wearing a Rocawear polo with a Rocawear sign that is only in use for about one or two years and therefore shouldn't appear in a flashback that is at least six years old. edit »
- When Dr. Cox and Keith are in the room wearing the same clothes talking to Jordan and Elliot, behind them is a whiteboard with the word annual mispelt "anual" written on it. edit »
- Elliot's explanation that Keith's last name "Dudemeister" is German and means "master of dudes" is partially made up. While "meister" indeed does mean "master", "Dude" is no German word. edit »

- (Dr. Cox is drinking a glass of scotch)
Dr. Zeltzer: Oh...oh..Slow down there, Big Guy!!
Dr. Cox: Why, Zeltzer? It's not like I'm driving.
Dr. Zeltzer: I know. But there's a roofie in it.
(Dr. Cox faints)
Jordan: I'm not sure if I'm okay with that!!
Dr. Zeltzer: Three... Two.. One!!
(Jordan faints)
Mrs. Zeltzer: Party Time. edit » - Dr. Cox: I have no answers for any of you.
Gloria: But my boyfriend is Bi-curious and he wants me to pick his lovers.
Dr. Cox: I might have an answer for that, Ewwww. edit » - Dr. Kelso: Nurse Espinosa, I need your help with something. My dog, Baxter, passed away last night. I dealt with it emotionally but, unfortunately, I can't stop crying. Anyway, I need you to run interference for me today; keep people from seeing me looking vulnerable and so forth.
Carla: So, you think I'll automatically do this? You think my ego is so big that I'll be flattered that I'm the only one you can open up to? I'll do it. edit » - Carla: At least you stopped crying.
Dr. Kelso: Not really. My body just can't produce tears anymore because I've intentionally dehydrated myself. It's a risky move, I know, but Dr. Jarvis here said it'd be alright.
Carla: There's nobody standing behind you.
Dr. Kelso: I'm going to need an IV. edit » - Turk: Mothers and daughters... they speak so fast, but they speak so true.
(Calls J.D.)
Turk: Did you see it?
J.D.: I'm so mad at Lorelai, I can't even talk right now. edit »
- Dr. Cox: Please don't make me go out for drinks with Barbie and - yes, I know, it's way too easy - Ken!
Barbie and her boyfriend Ken are dolls produced by Matell Inc. Dr. Cox has always been calling Elliot "Barbie" and now he found the matching "Ken" in Keith. edit » - J.D.: You know, he could be a dynamite Center Square.
The Center Square is the most important position on the TV game show "The Hollywood Squares". edit » - Patient: They call me Mellow Yellow.
Since its release in the late sixties, Donovan's song "Mellow Yellow" has inspired a lot of speculation and debate as to its subject. Some ideas have included saffron cakes, vibrators and smoking banana peel. In this episode the line is used by the Hepatitis patient, because his skin turned yellow. edit » - Koyaanisqatsi:
The theme to "Koyaanisqatsi" plays while Janitor, Todd, Ted and Laverne give Carla the evil-eye. The film is often parodied for its extended sequences of passers-by glaring at the camera with similar music playing, sometimes the theme itself. edit »
