  • When Elliot walks into Herbert's room to tell him that they need to take him to the zoo for an MRI, the clock on the wall reads around 8:05. Two scenes ago, when Carla and Turk are trying to come up with a new potential name for their daughter, the time is shown to be 8:50. edit »
  • When Turk suggests "Honor" as another name for a daughter to Carla and they realize it's too easy to make fun of, the clock on the wall reads around "8:50." However, a few scenes ago when J.D. tries to convince Elliot to lie to Dan about her interest in him, the time is shown to be around 8:05. We know it's still the same day, because Dr. Cox and Ted are taking a break from their work. edit »
  • When J.D. lies again to Dan, saying Elliot didn't want to get involved with Dan because she knew he didn't want to have kids, the clock outside reads a little past 5:10. Herbert tells J.D. not to worry about it, and the show goes into a commercial break.
When the show starts again, we see J.D. running around, trying to find Elliot before Dan. When J.D. finds Elliot in Herbert's room, the clock outside reads around 8:05. If J.D. was in such a rush, there's no reason it should have taken him three hours to find her. edit »
  • When J.D. asks the interns what to do about the Herbie situation, you can see a woman in the background getting close to him as if she was going to talk to him but when the camera angle changes she is gone. edit »
  • Dr. Cox: You know, Bobbo, I find you less repungent of late. Dare I say I'm developing a begrudging indifference to you.
Dr. Kelso: You're so edgy and cantankerous. You're like House without the limp. edit »
  • Dr. Cox: Since Sweaty Teddy here backs up his infinitesimal knowledge of the law with absolutely zero knowledge of medicine, one of you is going to have to help him go through the claims deciphered for the medical stuff and somehow relay all of that into his tiny peanut brain. Ted, how many times did I insult you during that speech, I was shooting for five?
Ted: Only three unless you count "Sweaty Teddy" as an insult but my mom calls me that and she loves me, right?
Dr. Cox: No Ted, she hates you. Four. Since Ted has no life and that is five. edit »
  • Dan: So you got the baby fever, huh?
Elliot: Yeah, hopefully I'm already pregnant with Keith's child.
Keith: Oh come on! I'm 25. I haven't even been to Europe. edit »
  • Turk: You know what name I have always liked for a girl? Honor.
Carla: Turk, you know how mean boys are. They would be all like: I got Honor. Did you get Honor?
Turk: Yeah everybody got Honor. She is easy!
    Carla:It is your daughter!
Turk: Yes it is. edit »
  • Ted: What's a "Buckland"?
Dr. Cox: It is a predominately hairless growth that is never found on women.
    Ted: Weird.
Dr. Cox: It's your last name Ted.
    Ted: Good one! edit »
  • House M.D.:
Kelso calls Dr. Cox 'so edgy and cantankerous you're like House without the limp' referring to House, the doctor who is advertised to 'play by his own rules', much like Cox who limps around with a cane. edit »
  • Herbie:
One of J.D.'s patient's is named Herbie. JD calls Herbie, "Love Bug," alluding to the famous Disney #53 VW Beetle vehicle. The patient is quite obese and when J.D. asks Herbie how he is feeling, Herbie responds saying: "Fully Loaded", "Herbie: Fully Loaded" was the name of the most recent installment of the Herbie movie series, starring Lindsay Lohan. edit »
