i was just watching a bunch of episodes randomly today and laverne is constantly jesus this...jesus that .... dont have sex before marriage. then i watched my long goodbye and she said she had sex with kelso before she was married not to mention kelso was probably married at the time... I dont know it just kind of makes her whole time on the show a farce? Agree disagree?

Disagree. She was probably not saved yet at that time, or, it is possible she fell, we all do at one time or another, none of us are infallible, we all fall when compared to Christ. She is not a hypocrite for past mistakes. If she was preaching that, and doing it during the show, that would be a different story.

Um, you do realize that that wasn't really Laverne, right? It was an extension of Carla's psyche' so Carla made that story up herself.

Yeah, I thought it was obvious that Carla was making the story up in her imagination, since Laverne clearly hates Kelso in the earlier seasons ("Easy Laverne, you're a saved woman", etc.) and Kelso was just trying to make a move on a coma patient because, let's face it, he's a weird one. As for Laverne, she may be a gossip, a religiously obsessed, bossy nurse but she's not a cheater, for the two reasons that it's against her beliefs and she herself would not want to be the cause of any gossip.

I don't think she actually slept with him...and if she did, she might not have been religous yet.

Who said they had sex? They were talking about kissing. The fantasy is also a bit weird since it reveals things which are true, even though Laverne is in a coma.

It's still all in Carla's mind.
