Ever listen to an artist or song that you thought "wow, that would be cool on scrubs (or any other show whatever, but this is scrubs we're talking about so we'll leave it at that.)

I think you do, so who do you think deserves it?

I'm thinking....Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, Sufjan Stevens, and the New Pornographers.

Is November here yet? How much longer must we talk about threads like this?

PS - Not that this is a bad thread but I was just thinking out loud how much I miss a fresh new show.

Fantasy by The Blizards. I think it would suit JD and Elliot. Good Thread in my opinion.

Shooting Star- Bad Company. I think they'd be able to use it fairly well.

I don't know why, but the first time I heard "Stop and stare" by One Republic, I was like "Wow, that song is MADE for Scrubs" It's SO suitable.

I'm don't know why...but that song from the Breakfast Club...I'm not sure of the exact name, but I think it might be (Don't You) Forget about Me". I'm not quite sure why, but I could picture JD leaving the hospital on that.

On second thought, that may be too corny

They already did that as a joke (ie. parodying the cheesiness) when Ted is proud of getting a soda before returning to work.

Anyway, I think Linkin Park's "Shadow of the Day" would be a great song for a patient's death or something coming to an end.

There is a reason Hybrid Theory is one of the best selling albums of all time, and it is not because they are horrible.

Sorry to bust some chops here, but:

    1) Michael, you are giving people false information. Fact: Linkin Park's "Hybrid Theory" set a U.S. sales record for "Highest Selling Album by a Nu Metal Group" by going 10x platinum. Nu Metal. I don't even know what the hell that means.

That's U.S. sales record, and sure, it's quasi-impressive. However, even on a U.S. scale (and not even considering a GLOBAL level) 10x platinum doesn't stand up well to The Eagles 29x platinum record, or Michael Jackson's 27x platinum. Shania Twain's "Come on Over" in 1997 went 20x platinum. I mean, even Britney's Spears' "Oops, I Did it Again" has outsold "Hybrid Theory".

    2) You're right. It's not because they're horrible. The reason is because most of us brainless, Wal-Mart shopping Americans like all the overproduced crap bands that they hear on the radio.

That is not false information, it is one of the highest selling albums of all time.

And while it is nowhere near Eagles Greatest hits 1, or Thriller, it is still an immense number.
