would you like to see JIM, JElliot, or JOther?

    ok, as far as I can see, there has been a great deal of discussion on this topic, and some very strong opinions for both sides, but there has been no definitive poll to find out where the majority of forum users opinions lie, so please, if you want to support your view, VOTE!!

     and for those who don't know:

    there is great discussion as to who JD will choose in recent episodes of scrubs, some people think that since he used to love elliot and has been reminiscing about her, he will try to stop her marriage to keith and end up with her, some people think that since

    he will end up with her. others would like to see him with one of his ex girlfriends (or indeed someone completely new), others would like to see poor old JD all on his lonesome.

     This poll is not about what you think will happen, it's about what you would like to see happen.

    JElliot is the only decision that makes sense. Kim is evil, other would be hard to pull off with one season remaining. JD alone goes against what most of the seasons are about. Not to mention I love JElliot, so JElliot.

    Thats what im talking about Michael. Kim IS evil, she looks like a vampire. I just don't know what Pix, Pixel's minion and the Dead Man see in her.

    I hate Kim from the bottom of her hooves to the top of her pitchfork..

    Well actually I dont, but its still an awesome line But anyway, voted JElliot because it makes most sense at the moment (in a strange, rehashed, cliche sort of way )

    I voted Jeliot because poor JD can never abandon the concept of him and Elliot together... So let him just have it if he still wants it after 6 years pfff

    besides appearantly both zach and sarah want it too, and they know the characters the best.

    That would be one scary combination! Don't think JElliot is a good idea, not for the fact that I don't like them together, but there is greater potential for storyline variation with Jim and Ellieth (Ellanyone)!

    I think it has to be JElliot. It's the only one that makes sense. There are many reasons why, but I actually just can't be bothered anymore.

    In the first episode J.D was attracted to her and after 7 years of broken relationships he should finally get the girl he always wanted.

    I don't see how people think JElliot is one that makes sense because JD and Elliot have proven time and time again that they are a terrible couple that fight constantly and as said in Conventional Wisdom, the only thing that's changed is that Elliot's getting married, proving that JD still wants what he can't have and that he's just jealous, not because he loves Elliot but because he used to. I can understand why people don't like Kim but these same people turn around and say Elliot and JD are a functional couple? I voted Jim, but I don't see why we need yet another thread on this just because it has a poll. I can't believe you missed one of the obvious choices - JUrk! They're a better couple than JElliot wrestling will ever be. I say Kim because while both have made mistakes in that relationship, they are going to be parents and they do still care for each other (J.D. admitted this before he realised she was pregnant). Either that or JOlly, JAmie, or by himself. I don't think Scrubs will do a finale that ties up all the loose ends because the point of Scrubs is that life goes on, so J.D. continuing to be single and attempting to date hot girls may be what's in store for him at least while the show is going on. It's better that than pairing up all the main couples (Cox-Jordan, Cala-Turk, Elliot-JD, and if they're going to do that, they may aswell add Kelso-Janitor to the cliche)

    I agree with your monster block of text, jimobo, and I would rather see JD and Kim than JD and Elliot. I also would like to see this trend of amalgamating names because it hurts my brain. I have to try and figure out two things from one word?! Ridiculous!

    Anyway, back to the matter at hand. JD and Elliot may still get back together, I think, and I concur that they do not work as a couple. That's not to say, however, that they will not try to work as a couple. The number of times i have seen this happen in my life and those of my friends is to depressing to count. People get back with their ex's because they think it's gonna be easier than finding someone new. Also, which is more the case here, i think, jealousy plays a big role. You're used to having someone as your boyfriend/girlfriend, to see them with someone else goes against your perception of the relationship, even it that perception is now outdated.

    I think the writers know this, too. I dont think they will have JD and Elliot back together for good but maybe one last fling. After all, they seem to be sexually compatible! Having said that, they cant do the whole "sex buddy" thing again and they cant do the whole them get together, realize they dont work and break up thing cuz BOTH of those have been done.. They could kill one of them? I dunno, and this post is getting long and none of you read it anyway

    I think that the only reason JElliot didnt work before was because JD didnt try that hard becuase he always thought he could go back to her, and since Elliot is getting married he cant try again, and he will never have the chance to accually make it work. Like Dr. Cox said in My Bed Banter and Beyond even the couples that are right for eachother go thru the same crap as the rest of the couples but one of them has to persist and hold on and make it work. I think that JD always thought that Elliot would be the one to do that and if she didnt he could always go back and try again, but now that shes getting married he cant. But thats just my opinion.

    jimbo i dont agree with you. JD and Elliot did NOT prove time and time again that they are a terrible couple. Here is some indepth analysis:
    Season1: ONLY time they have been together. Yes, a trainwreck.
    Season2: They were not in a relationship, only sex buddies
    Season3: Writers wanted to desperately end the will they wont they thing because it was starting to get ridiculous, so they threw them together and made JD dislike Elliot. I think they chose an easy way out, but again, cant say they didnt work because that was what... one day?
    Season4, 5, and 6 so far, nothing

    So... Season1 is really the ONLY time they have been in a serious relationship for more than a day. Now, this is Season 7. I can't see why you dont want them to give it a try again... I think it would be sweet if they ended up together it would have a nice symmetry to it somehow...

    very well said, i have exactly the same feeling about that. Thats why he said to Turk the last ep that this time its different, because this time she is actually Getting Married.

    That's my point - wanting what he can't have again. As for your season description, here's mine:

    S1: JD has a crush on Elliot but realises in the third episode that choosing friendship over sex in this case makes sense. When they do hook up after Elliot realises she's jealous, JD realises he can't make the same jokes he used to when they were friends and Elliot couldn't let the little things go. They fought constantly and mutually realised it wasn't working and after some time became friends again. However Elliot still has lingering feelings since they didn't have enough space after the breakup.

    S2: Elliot gets over JD but when JD realises that he's sexually attracted to Elliot again, since his peep started working again, they both had a Christmas present of sex, involving biting ass. When they remember how terrible a couple they were, they decide to remain friends who hook up to relieve stress. However, this distracts Elliot from her work so they break it off, just after JD realises he still loves her. Both move on and have relationships, J.D. with Jamie, and Elliot with Paul, and both are fine and over it.

    S3: JD sees a change in Elliot that sparks his interests again, soon before seeing her with Sean, which made him over jealous so he starts dating Danni but is not fully into the relationship. So he then hooks up with Elliot while Sean is in NZ, but Elliot is only doing this because she's confused about the long distance relationship (which I hope is not repeated in this season - Elliot's confusion of a relationship causing her to hook up with JD). When Sean comes back, she chooses him and JD is crushed but still has feelings so convinces her to break up with him but realising that he was jealous because he missed their relationship, not because he still loved her so when he hears Turk's definition of love he breaks it off, causing a vicious move by Elliot and for her to basically loathe him until over time she forgave him and thay became close friends again after realising neither have romantic feelings for each other.

    (Part of that was season 4)

    S6: Now that Elliot's in a serious relationship, J.D. is jealous, both because he missed out on a serious relationship with Kim after her "miscarriage" and because it could have been him Elliot was marrying if she still loved him. When Kim confronts him at the hospital on why he ran from responsibility and Elliot asked him what he thought of the wedding... (to be continued)

    I picked JIM becuase I didnt really like JD and Elliot together. I didnt think they were that great as a couple. I already like Elliot with Keith. I also think JD would end up with Kim because of the baby and all that.
