Ian and Karen O'Rourke, move into an old manor house, hoping to convert it. When they discover a strange painting under the wallpaper and post it on the internet it draws the attention of Dr. Monaghan.
Monaghan, now working alone, is currently lecturing on the occult group the Golden Dawn and the painting suggests that the house may have belonged to one of the group's founders.
We learn that the house belonged to Robert Dunbar, a medium whose wife was dying of consumption. Between Dunbar's innate power, the teachings of the Golden Dawn, and the Palo practices of Dunbar's maidservant, something or someone haunts the house - and wants to be left alone...
