The opening episode of this brand new drama series follows a small unit of parapsychologists, headed by Dr Douglas Monaghan, who look to uncover the mysteries of the paranormal. Douglas' friend Carol, through a freak twist of fate, encounters her unknown identical twin sister, Helen. As Douglas gets excited about the rare high psychic hit rate the sisters achieve, their overwhelming joy at meeting each other takes on a more sinister tack when the seeds of jealousy and envy set in.

Katie Quinn brings her six year old son to the unit when he shows disturbing signs of having lived before.
