The second season will begin on Monday the 31st of March, 2008, presumably in the 8.30 timeslot. The entire cast from the first season will be back, minus the obvious one, though there are some new additions to the cast.
The relatively unknown Kirsty Lee Allan is the only new addition to the regular cast, and will play the role of Chef Rebecca "Bomber" Brown. She has done some theatre work, including playing the part of Jasmine in Aladdin.
Alan Dale is also joining the cast, as the recurring character of Ray Walsman. He is a veteran Australian actor who has worked extensively on a range of television shows including Neighbours, The OC, Ugly Betty, The Young Doctors, 24, NCIS, ER, and The X-Files, and is also currently seen in Lost as the mysteriopus Charles Widmore.
Joining Alan Dale as recurring stars are Dajana Cahill and Ditch Davey. Dajana, known from her work in the AFI winning Mortified, and the US series Monarch Cove, will play the part of Carly Walsman, while Ditch, of Blue Heelers and Police Files: Unlocked fame, will be playing SAS Captain Jim Roth.
