IMO, Season 2 was more exciting and had consistently better scripts than Season 1, but the problem was the overall story arc: weeks of intrigue led to a climax that I could have seen coming from Episode 2. Except I didn't because I expected better, after the relatively subtle way the dots were joined throughout Seaason 1. To clarify that, the difference is that Season 2 took longer to reveal the connections we saw coming from the beginning. I hope they can find a better balance between the action and the arc development next year.
