Laura Gibson: As I did the other day after I had a coffee. Then when Phrani cooked me a curry and again when I had some wine to calm down.
Max Connors: Calm down about what Laura?
Laura Gibson: About the fact that you've made me pregnant.
Max Connors: Come again?
Laura Gibson: And don't even think about pinning this on poor Warwick! He was saving himself.
Max Connors: How'd this happen?
Laura Gibson: Well,just...think about it! Think about splitting the atom, hmm? Tiny little process, tiny little cells, grows into a great big problem for someone...That's why I was so bloody calm! It was bloody hormones!
Max Connors: Right.

(Beat. Max contemplates Laura for a moment and Laura groans from nerves and nausea)

Max Connors: Rex is a great name for a boy.
Laura Gibson: I don't want to discuss this.
Max Connors: I had a great dog...
Laura Gibson: I said I absolutely don't want to discuss this!

(Max embraces Laura, who looks relieved)
