The Official Story

When good-doer Matt Reilly gets put up in court, the town tries to keep him out of gaol. Laura and Sergeant Gray suspect something is going on and race to uncover it. Bob sets out to impress some Federal Parliamentarians while Jack arrives in town for Rupert's birthday. Laura, sick and tired of Angus' feelings towards how she runs her court, asks him for a sign when she does something wrong. After the truth about Matt is revealed, the town come together to stop the law from interfering with Jack and Rupert's time together. The entire town having lost the Pool tournament proceed to run through town in their underwear. Bob's chance at Federal Parliament goes down the drain.

The Official Story
"Pivotal"
While a local hero, who everyone knows the truth about except for Grey and Laura, is put on the spot, Bob is trying to move into Federal politics. In the end, the truth is revealed, but the town also starts to bring Laura into their fold.
