first we lost jonathan brandis and now roy scheider. what do you think. every time a show ends is'nt strange that you find out that more than one charcter on a show will die. sometime i do think some show are cursed.

You're forgetting Royce D. Applegate, who passed away in 2003. Not sure if I'd say the show was "cursed." Roy Scheider had multiple myloma and had been battling it for years, and Jonathan Brandis killed himself (nobody's fault but his own). It's sad to see them go, but I think it's just coincidence that members of a large ensemble cast die almost 10 years after the show goes off the air.

hay ya i forgot about him. its just like babylon 5 we have lost 4 members from that show as well. austraila has'nt got seaquest 2 on dvd yet. i might have to try and order it from america if i can. im not shore how to down load it. do you know where i have to go to do that. cass

I still don't understand why Brandis committed suicide though. I wonder if it was being turned down for playing Anikin Skywalker for the 2 Star Wars movies? IMO he would've been a great Anikin over Hayden C. Lucas dropped the ball in that decision.

he killed himself because he wasnt getting any acting roles. and was deeply depressed. that what happens to a lot a child stars. once the show ends sometimes so do there careers. its sad but it happens.

True, I just thought not getting that role for Star Wars 2 and 3 really pushed him over the edge. Shame too, I liked him far more than that wooden actor Hayden C.

he was a great young actor. i liked him in stephen kings IT. and the neverending story 2 he could of be a good actor.
