Set in the future... it was about a crew on a highly sophisticated submarine that explored the oceans. Politics, technology, power struggles and an underlying alturistic view was what made up SeaQuest hide « show »

It was such a great show. I loved the talking dolphin and of course Jonathan Brandis(RIP). It was pretty orignal since it did have one of the best ideas about how a submarine should work. The storylines were sometimes sketchy but the crew of the sub meshed well. It was defintely a show I watched religiously until it was canceled. It was one of the reason I was excited to have the sci-fi channel because they used to show reruns. Hopefully they will show them again.

seaQuest isn't on anymore but it was a great show as my dad a mildly famous geologist put it "it's great they are exploring the sea, they are trying to explore space when there are parts of our seas when haven't seen yet" hide « show »

2 thumbs up four stars all that good stuff
it was a great show with amazing fx and greatly imaginative, creative, and talented writers they keep the episodes fresh and me coming back for more I wish it were still on. the teen star Johnathan Brandis who played Lucas is rumored to have killed himself for lack of work around 2002 not sure if it is true but I hope it isn't he was my WHOLE world and my dream man as a teen still is when I am sad
