What possible plots can be pursued based on the pilot?

Here are a few I 'extracted' from the episode (potential spoilers):

- 'Brian', who is he? what happened?
We know he was supposed to meet Sam Steele at the lighthouse, but someone else showed up (Russel?) and assaulted Sam.

- 'Kayla Rhodes', what did she see? where was she? what was she mumbling? what snapped her out of it?

- The dead twin, what happened to her? who poisoned her? with what? why?

- 'X', what does it mean? why do people in the town get scared when they see it? why does Tisha Steele have it on her neck? Why did Beth Steele have it in her locker?

- The light house, what's the significance?

- 'Brenda Rhodes', who is she? who is she seeing? what story is she trying to stick to?

- 'Peter Rhodes', what is he hiding in the shack? what does he know? does he know who killed his sisters?

- 'Chad Wilson', who is he? what does he know? why is he shunned?

- 'Tisha Steele', the X? could she have found out that Chad was sleeping with the sisters and killed them? what does she know that she can't tell?

- 'Jimmy Lee', what does he know? why is his footprint in the crime scene?


A lot of stuff to go on, good pilot.

What do you guys think? Have I missed any?

I think it's great that the pilot has so many unanswered questions. It gives the producers a lot to work from right away, which could develop into something VERY good. Thumbs up to them.

but how was it releasied for it to be downloaded is what i dont get i am so lost

The man Denise kissed was Bryan Van Holt's brother. The one that went crazy on the younger brother. Great Pilot. A little forced in some parts but overall good and spooky. I really want to know what's up with the X's.

When the twin snapped out of it, I had the mouse on the player and I jolted and moved the mouse and the player moved really quickly, it was pretty funny. And did anyone else notice that the same yellow flower that Kelly or Kayla spread at the lighthouse was the same yellow flower Russell spread on Kelly's coffin. Oh and does anyone know the song that plays at the end of the episode? It plays also at the begining when Beth is walking away into the hallway after telling her boyfriend to feed the cat. Thanks!

i have to rewatch it because i was falling a sleep. but yea i think i do remember the yellow flower this is very interesting i want to see the next episode and so forth

 Brian was Russel's oldest son, right? And I guess him and Sam were going out and then Sam got pregnant, so Russel flipped out and attacked Sam at the lighthouse. As for the "X", Tisha and Kelly both had it on their necks, so maybe it means they are in some elite club of people who has slept with Chad Wilson, but that still doesn't explain why Beth had it in her locker. 

 Also, since Tisha is Brian's daughter, wouldn't that make the twins her aunts? Which is weird because they are the same age as her.

Does anyone know if this show is still alive?  I keep hearing that it didn't get picked up.  I also read in an interview with Sean Patrick Flanery that they said they will shop around to other networks but he doesn't think they will.  Bummer.  And where can other people view the pilot?
