Comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica, have again enlarged their family with the birth of their third child earlier this week.
Shepherd Kellen Seinfeld was born early Monday morning to the delight of Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld. The infant joins the growing Seinfeld brood, which includes son Julian, 2, and daughter Sascha, 4.
Though no details on the baby's health or size have been released, Seinfeld's publicist, Stephen Rubenstein, announced that "Jerry and Jessica are thrilled. The baby is great; they are all home now."
The Seinfelds, who met in 1998 just after Jessica had married another man, wed in 1999 and began producing children in late 2000. The 51-year-old TV star brought up the subject of babies several times in his comedic routines. After the birth of his daughter, he said, "Nothing prepares you. When those eyes meet your eyes--I was feeling things I never had feelings like before. I never loved anyone so much at first meeting. I love her so much! But! Let's make no mistake why these babies come here: to replace us."
In other happy news of the week, Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye and her husband, Jason Goldberg, have announced the birth of their first child, Poet Sienna Rose Goldberg. The 7-pound, 13-ounce baby was born early Wednesday morning in a Los Angeles hospital, and mother and daughter are both reportedly doing well.

I don't get IllyriaRules comment about how Jerry has become everything he used to make fun of on his show. What has he become? A successful family man? His show made fun of who he was then. A single man and his friends who have nothing better to do than to obsess over the trivialities of life and their inappropriate behavior towards others. Sometimes even fans of the show don't get it. But I guess that's why Seinfeld was so popular. It was funny on every level.
