This is probably the only show I know that kept it's quality consistant throughout the whole series, there were good and there were great episodes, but not once was there a real stinker... I can't think of another show that I can say "it's consistantly good" about, there were episodes that sucked in all of them or quality differences e.g. the first half of the show was worse or it "lost it's charm" after a while or even "I didn't like Season 3 that much"...

It's an accomplishment in itself They probably could've kept going also :/

Some say that season 8 and 9 stunk, but I enjoyed all of them. I wouldn't say the early episodes were up to par though. But, that's television. Once it got on its feet, it never fell.

The first season was decent. It was great even in 8 and 9.

It ended on a very high note.

Many people have mixed feelings about the last two seasons, without Larry David. Personally, I enjoy them, and I really am not a huge fan of the earlier years.

I definitely agree that Seinfeld was able to remain consistently funny. I own all the sets and can pretty much throw in any disc from any season and be satisfied. I do hear a lot about how the last couple seasons weren't well received but I don't really understand why. They were just as funny to me...

I never liked The Dog. Not sure why. It just didn't do it for me.

Certain episodes in certain seasons are what I find funny. There are some ups and downs to this show.

Yeah, it's one of the few shows that never jumped the shark. I think of Arrested Development in the same way. They both could have gone on for a few more years.

I agree. Seinfeld was awesome. They should have kept it on for a few more years.

To each his own. I think the Bizarro Jerry episode is one of the funniest of the entire series.

I have season 9 DVD and I think it was one of the best seasons. Puddy is in it and he is hilarious. Episodes like The Frogger make me want to watch them over and over again.

Last two seasons weren't my favorite but i'd still rather watch an episode from any season of Seinfeld over most of whats on TV today.

    AMEN!

I can't think of any episodes I didn't like either; some were better than others, like "The Soup Nazi", but overall, I think the show just got better with age. It certainly became more popular.

I'd disagree with Arrested Development, the first Season was A LOT better than the 2nd, which again was better than the 3rd...

Wow - if you go to that thread - almost everyone's favorite is season 2 followed by the third. I wouldn't say is was "A lot" - but to each his own.

I pretty much agree. Only the first season I consider 'average' but it didn't yet find itself at that point and only had 5 episodes. Some episodes weren't so funny but those were so few and far between it's hard to remember there were any of those. Having 9 seasons that were consistently funny and fresh is an amazing thing indeed and that's why it's my favorite show all-time.

I enjoyed Seinfeld. Over the summer, I finally got to watch the pilot episode of Seinfeld, and in my opinion, it's one of my favorite episodes in the series (I can't get why a lot of people didn't like that first episode). I thought it was constantly funny, and I'm talking rolling-on-the-floor kind of funny.

About those last two seasons, I liked them, and I was glad Jerry Seinfeld decided to end the show while it was still at its peak. I enjoyed some of the Season Nine episodes such as the Merf Griffin episode, the voice, the serenity now, and the clip shows.

What other opinions do we have?
