James Spader is credited as a "Special Appearance".
(edit)
While playing Scrabble, Melissa uses the word "zephyr" and records 66 points. This would require a double word score and a triple letter score on the Z.
(edit)
Elaine rubs her armpit, butt, and so on, with Peggy's keyboard, telephone receiver, etc., in order to pique Peggy's germophobia. In "The Pacakge", Elaine rubbed a telephone receiver on the rash on her neck, in the hope of infecting an obnoxious nurse.
(edit)
When Melissa tells Jerry that she fixed his bicycle, Jerry replies, "Thanks, but I never use it, it's just for show."
(edit)
Elaine: This food was in the shower with you?
Kramer: Mmm hmm... I prepared it as I bathed. (edit) Jerry: He took you to Rage-aholics? Why?
George: Probably because this whole universe is against me!
Jerry: I think you've got a little rage.
George: I know. And now they want me to bottle it up. It makes me so mad!
(edit) George: (about Henke) Instead of an apology, he was be-boppin' and scattin' all over me. (edit) Elaine: (about her co-worker) This is all in her mind, okay? She is insane. She thinks I made her sick because I coughed on her doorknob, rubbed her stapler in my armpit, and put her keyboard on my butt. Yeah... She's a whacko. (edit) Kramer: (observing men in a gym shower) Oh yeah yeah, I'm watching you too, but this guy's really showing me something.
(edit) Henke: Alright George, alright. I'm sorry. I'm very very sorry. I'm so sorry that I didn't want your rather bulbous head struggling to find its way through the normal size neckhole of my finely knit sweater. (edit) (on Kramers show routine)
Jerry: You're probably wasting time working piece-meal, first cleaning one area and then another.
Kramer: Well, that's how cats do it.
Jerry: But when you have a faucet instead of a tongue, you want to use gravity. (edit) George: So she coughed.
Jerry: Coughing? Naked? It's a turn-off, man.
George: Everything goes with naked.
Jerry: When you cough there are thousands of unseen muscles that suddenly spring into action. It's like watching that fat guy catch a cannonball in his stomach in slow motion.
George:You spoiled spoiled man. You know how much mental energy I expend just trying to picture women naked?
Jerry: But the thing you don't realize is that there's good naked and bad naked. Naked hair brushing - good. Naked crouching - bad. (edit) Kramer: Well, here's my shower routine. Maybe I could make some changes. Wash cloth mittens and maybe some liquid soap, and just focus! (edit) Kramer: You went to the coffee shop without me? I told you I just wanted to hop in the shower.
Jerry: That was an hour ago. What were you doing in there?
Kramer: Showering. How long's it take you?
Jerry: Ten minutes.
Kramer: Ten minutes? That's kooky talk. (edit) George: It's like you're living in the Playboy Mansion! Did she frolic?
Jerry: I don't really have enough room. (edit) George: I'm not here for rage, I'm here for revenge. (edit) (getting mad at an anger management class)
George: Am I talking to you Pinhead? (edit) Jerry: What is wrong with my body?
Elaine: Chicken wing shoulder blades.
Jerry: Is that it?
Elaine: No but that's one problem, why? (edit) George: I'm losing it! (edit) George: This bread has nuts in it! (edit) Elaine: The female body is a work of art. The male body is utilitarian. It's for gettin' around. It's like a Jeep. (edit) Puddy: Puddy
Kramer: Is David Puddy there?
Puddy: This is Puddy.
Kramer: Well this is Kramer.
Puddy: I know. (edit)

When Elaine laughs at George for telling the "you'll stretch the neck out" story, she says "You do have a big head." Apparently she would know, because in the previous season's "The Andrea Doria" episode, Elaine was told she had a big head by her ex-boyfriend, a cab driver and a man on a park bench.
(edit)
When George is tricked into going to ragaholics anonymous, the actor playing the man at the podium speaking is David Dunard, you may also see him way back in Season 3 "The Parking Garage", he played the security guard who caught Jerry and George urinating in the parking lot. He also makes an appearance in the series finale, playing his security guard character again.
(edit)
In this episode, Melissa fixes Jerry's bike, and he says: "Thanks, but I don't use it, it's just for show." However, a few episodes later, in "The Bookstore", Kramer rides it around his apartment. Apparently, Jerry only means that he doesn't ride the bike, but it still works.
(edit)
There are several problems with this episode's reference to AA's 12 Steps:
1) Step 9 calls for amends to be made to all people the alcoholic had harmed as a result of his/her drinking. Step 9 has nothing to do with apologizing for stupid things like calling someone by the wrong name or not lending them a sweater.
2) George says that after "taking personal inventory" (Step 10), Hanky only had to "count his blessings and say a prayer." However, these are not Steps 11 and 12.
3) George is under the impression that once an alcoholic has completed the 12 Steps, he has completed the AA program. Hanky's sponsor seems to share a similar view, as he says that Hankey is "doing very well", and "already on Step 10." However, alcoholics/addicts spend the rest of their lives involved with their 12 Step programs, and continue step work over time. Completing the steps quickly is not a positive thing. (edit) Upon learning that Elaine, like Jerry, spends only 10 minutes in the shower, Kramer asks Elaine if he can smell her. In Season 3's "The Red Dot," Elaine and Jerry ask Kramer to take a drink and let them smell him. Interestingly, in this episode, when being smelled, Elaine is standing in almost the exact spot in Jerry's kitchen where Kramer stood to be smelled in "The Red Dot." (edit) George takes a piece of mail of Jerry's, presumably a magazine or catalogue, into the bathroom with him. However, in "The Bookstore" we learn that Jerry doesn't read in the bathroom, and is horrified by the idea of being around reading material that has been in the bathroom. (edit) In this episode, George says "Oh, you spoiled, spoiled man. Do you now how much mental energy I expend just trying to picture women naked?", when actually, he has a new date in almost every episode. (edit) Viewer Kim Babij, noticed that in the scene where Melissa goes to get the jar of pickles... they didn't quite frame the shot properly because you can see the waistband of her skin-colored body-suit. (edit) Mellisa's cleavage can be see in at least two scenes of this episode. However, for some reason (i don't know if this is a syndication thing or if it was like this when it first aired on NBC) when Mellisa takes Jerry's bike down, her cleavage is blurred out. Weird. (edit) It seems a bit strange and contradicting that Puddy, a recovered germophobe, would work as a Mechanic with all the grease, dirt & oil... (edit) In this episode Elaine makes fun of George for having a big head even though in "The Andrea Doria" Elaine found out she had a big head herself. (edit)

:
Three scenes, three primate references: Talking at Monk's, Elaine calls the male body "simian." In the next scene, when Jerry and Melissa are talking about nudity, she sees him as a lantern-jawed, head-scratching ape. In the scene after that, Jerry is peeling and eating a banana while talking on the phone. (edit)
