Jerry has a date with a woman whose name he has forgotten, but it "rhymes with a female body part." Could it be "Mulva"? Elaine visits an old boyfriend who's in the hospital for an operation; he was once fat, thin she's interested again. Kramer gets an opportunity to witness the operation and he drags Jerry along, while watching they have an accident with a "Junior Mint." Add a recap »

- Jerry says that the mint bounced off a "respirator thing" and into the patient and we do hear the sounds of a respirator during the surgery but when it shows the patient, it's obvious that he's not on one. edit »
- This episode aired out of production order. Consequently, while Jerry is seen in this episode playing with his yo-yo, two episodes later, in "The Handicap Spot", Jerry mentions to George that he is considering getting a yo-yo. edit »
- The name "Dolores" was suggested by a woman in the audience during filming and was not in the script. edit »
- George goes to Jerry's apartment to watch Home Alone. But there is no way that the music and sound effects that are coming out of the t.v. were from Home Alone. edit »
- cli-TOR-us is an archaic pronunciation. CLIT-ur-is is the preferred pronunciation. This left many people wondering how they arrived at Delores. edit »
- A different ending that was never filmed was mentioned in "Notes About Nothing." It featured George selling Roy's artwork to Kramer for a small amount of money. Kramer then states that Roy died, which meant that his artwork was now worth a fortune, and George regrets selling it too soon, knowing that he could've been rich. edit »
- During the original airing of this episode one of the commercials was a promo for Mad About You which was Seinfeld related.
Jamie and Paul are lying together on the couch watching TV.
Jamie: Seinfeld's a great show.
Paul: Yea. You know there ought to be a show like that about our life.
Jamie: Would we have to get off the couch?
Announcer: Mad About You, NBC Saturdays.
Paul: Yea, forget it.
Mad About You would cross paths with Seinfeld twice: Once in the Seinfeld episode "The Engagement" when Susan tapes an episode of MAY to watch in bed with George, and again in the MAY episode "The Apartment" in which it was revealed that Paul had been subletting his old bachelor pad to one Cosmo Kramer. edit » - In the close-up scene of the Junior Mint flying through the air in the operating room,it's actually not a Junior Mint at all, but a York Peppermint Patty. edit »
- Victor Raider-Wexler plays the doctor in three other episodes: "The Invitations," "The Summer of George," and "The Finale (2)." edit »
- Jerry noted in an interview that the line, "Let me finish my coffee and we'll watch them slice the fat bastard up" was not in the original script. It was improvised on the day of the taping. edit »
- The Doctor: I have no medical evidence to back me up, but something happened during the operation that staved off that infection. Something beyond science. Something perhaps from above…
Kramer: Mint?
The Doctor: Those can be very refreshing. edit » - Jerry: Y'know I remember when I was a kid growing up, kids would make fun of my name like you wouldn't believe - 'Jerry Jerry Dingleberry', 'Seinsmelled'… edit »
- George: (explaining why he wants to watch a video at Jerry's place) Because if I watch it at my apartment I feel like I'm not doing anything. If I watch it here, I'm out of the house; I'm doing something. edit »
- Jerry: Produce section. Very provocative area. A lot of melons and shapes. Everyone's squeezing and smelling… edit »
- Kramer: Who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint? It's chocolate, it's peppermint -it's delicious!
Jerry: That's true.
Kramer: It's very refreshing! edit »
- Elaine: Prognosis Negative.
When Elaine talks about her friend's condition in the hospital, she says "prognosis negative", which was the name of a movie she and Jerry wanted to go see in the episode "The Dog." edit » - Jerry: We're like Leopold and Loeb.
Leopold and Loeb were an infamous duo from Chicago who kidnapped and murdered a boy in 1924. edit »
