- When Elaine asks Mr Pitt why he wants to man the Woody Woodpecker balloon in the parade, he explains that as a child he wasn't allowed to participate in the parade in any way. But then when Jerry asks Elaine the same question she says that he "finds his laugh intoxicating." Mr Pitt never said this on-screen. But even if we're to believe that he said it off-screen, this reason implies that his interest is specifically in Woody Woodpecker, but we know from the reason he gave Elaine that he would have been equally interested in any other balloon. edit »
- George tells Kramer that he has Jon Voight's Le Baron, but never tells him about there being any doubt that Jon Voight owned it, or about the pencil with the bite marks. However, when Kramer sees Jon Voight, and then gets bitten by him, he is very excited to help George find out if Jon Voight actually did own the car. edit »
- Jerry seems to not know how to wear cowboy boots: he tucks his pants into them! Nobody from the Southwestern US and Northern Mexico would wear his/her boots and pants that way, unless they intend on looking ridiculous. Then again, that might have been the point. edit »
- Kramer encourages Jerry to wear the cowboy boots telling him that he looks like a cowboy. Jerry responds by whining "I don't wanna be a cowboy!" This is a variation of a line from Season 5's "The Puffy Shirt." In that episode, when Kramer tells Jerry that by wearing the puffy shirt on tv, he'll be the first pirate in the new trend, Jerry's whiny response is "I don't wanna be a pirate!" edit »
- About the trophy deflating the balloon --- you are correct in assuming it wouldn't as those Macy's balloons are constructed in chambers (Kermit the Frog's arm would almost always puncture every year!) --- but aren't you pushing it a bit ... this is a comedy show. edit »
- On 24 Nov 94, instead of an episode of Seinfeld being on, Jerry hosted a one hour special highlighting his two favorite comedians, Bud Abbott & Lou Costello. The special was called Abbott & Costello Meet Jerry Seinfeld. edit »
- This is the first episode to feature Tim Whatley (Bryan Cranston), the dentist. He returns in 4 other episodes. edit »
- The ending of this episode, with Kramer suffering a nosebleed and Jerry comforting him in the back of a bus, was a takeoff on the ending to the movie "Midnight Cowboy". The "Midnight Cowboy" theme was present throughout this episode, as Jon Voigt starred in the movie, Jerry wears cowboy boots during the episode, and the theme song from the movie, "Everybody's Talking at Me" is heard playing twice. edit »
- George: For all I know, this guy went out of his way to not invite you. How am I going to feel if I show up with an uninvited, unwelcome intruder?
Jerry: The way I feel when I go places with you? edit » - George: Hey, I've got Jon Voight's LeBaron.
Kramer: Boss! edit » - George: What's so great about a mom and pop store? Let me tell you something, if my mom and pop ran a store I wouldn't shop there. edit »
- Jerry: (teasing George) Oh look, there's Gregory Peck's bicycle! And Barbara Mandrell's skateboard!" edit »
- Jerry: You bought a car because it belonged to Jon Voight?
George: No, no...
Jerry: I think yes, yes. edit »
- Superman:
After Elaine says: "So, Jerome, I did a little snooping around for you."
Jerry responds: "Ah! What'd you find out, Lois?"
By Lois, Jerry means Lois Lane. edit »
