- When Kramer asks, Morty explains how he came up with the idea for "The Executive". He claims to have tripped over one of Jerry's toys, removed the belt to threaten Jerry with, and seen himself in the mirror. According to his story, the next day, he cut the beltloops off the trenchcoat. However, in Season 2's "The Pony Remark," Morty says that he came up with the idea for the beltless trenchcoat when he went to work for "Harry Flemming" - as if it were a normal part of his job, and not an accidental innovation. Furthermore, in that episode he says that he came up with the idea in 1946. This episode aired in 1991, at which time Jerry was certainly not in his 40's. As such, it would be impossible for Morty to have tripped over Jerry's toy in 1946. It is therefore impossible for both explanations to be true. edit »
- Estelle: Maybe they don't like us.
Frank: Why wouldn't they like us? (tastes the paella) Again with the pepper? What do you gotta use all the pepper for?!
Estelle: Ah, keep quiet!
Frank: (agitated) What, are you trying to set my mouth on fire?!?
George: I don't know what the reason could be.

Helen: They're exhausting. It's like being in an asylum. edit » - Kramer: Oh hey, Helen, uh, could I use some more of your hand lotion?
Helen: I told you it was good.
Kramer: Yeah!
Helen: It's from the Sak's Fifth Avenue in Miami.
Kramer: Mmm. I'm gonna remember that if I'm ever in Florida.
Jerry: Yeah, or if you're ever on Fifth Avenue here, in New York City. edit » - George: Maybe this will become like a cool thing: living with your parents.
Jerry: Yeah, then maybe baldness will catch on. Things will all be turning your way. edit » - Morty: (on the phone) Jack, it's Morty.
Jack: Who died? edit » - Helen: Jerry, have you seen Schindler's List?
Jerry: No, I haven't see it yet.
Helen: Oh, you have to go. You have to.
Jerry: I'm going.
Helen: You have to!
Jerry: Okayyy. edit » - Morty: (on his beltless trenchcoat) This is 'The Executive'. edit »
- Judge Reinhold received an Emmy nomination in 1994 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for this two-part episode. edit »
- When Morty says "we can't stand 'em" in reference to the Costanzas, it is reminiscent of Coach Heyman's line from 305 - The Library; calling George "Can't stand ya". edit »
