Todd and Lisa Lubner begin to realize that their own bad habits have created a kid, their daughter Hannah, who acts like a cynical and angry adult. Hannah does whatever she wants to do and has no respect for authority. She hits her mom all the time with no reprocustion. Rabbi Shmuley tells Todd and Lisa that they are the reason that Hannah acts the way she does. Todd has a bad temper and Lisa really doesn't seem to care. All of Hannah's acting out is just a cry for attention. So Rabbi Shmuley sents them on an overnight camping trip which forces them to bond together and a family. Before the night is over, everyone notices a change in Hannah. She is acting more like a little kids now, instead of an angry adult.
