  • Shawn had been a vegetarian for 15 years until she one day decided, for no apparent reason, to go back to eating meat. She ate her first ever filet mignon the night she found out she would be joining the cast of Sunset Beach.(edit)
  • Before landing the role of "Sara Cummings" on Sunset Beach, Shawn auditioned for the role of "Caitlin Richards." The part eventually went to Kam Heskin.(edit)
