Shelton Benjamin is way underused and underrated. He desevres more than the WWE gives I'm sick of seeing him job off to lower superstars. He is up there with the greats like Kurt Angle, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Triple H. And I believe the only one of those who might be able to beat him in a real wrestling match would be Kurt Angle. Shelton Benjamin is just the personification of perfection, he is the Gold Standard and he cannot be beaten. Okay maybe he can ... on a bad day but he is simply the greatest.
Shelton Benjamin is one of the best athletic superstars working today. Give him the a championship maybe against John Cena or Edge. He is the true gold standard in the WWE Shelton Benjamin is a WWE superstar wrestling on the ECW brand. Shelton Benjamin has a great amateur background in wrestling at the university of Minnesota. Which means he can wrestler Shelton has better mic skills than some other wrestlers like Batista, but they get a bigger push. Shelton can make his opponents look good in every match. He reminds me of the one and only Heartbreak Kid Shawn michaels because they both make their opponents look good even if their opponents do not have any talent. They are both athletic and do unbelief moves that are jaw dropping. In fact my favorite Shelton Benjamin match is against Shawn Michaels where Shawn give Shelton the Sweet Chin music when Shelton jump of the top rope and Shawn connected in mid air that was a jaw dropping moment. Shelton has completed in all of money in the bank ladder matches and has had some memorable moves in those matches. Shelton is a 3 time IC Champion, two time tag team champion(charlie Haas) Shelton is going to be a great champion once the WWE realize it.
Shelton is an amazing athlete and one of the best wrestlers in the WWE. Shetlton in my opinion is the most underrated superstar to ever step foot in a WWE ring. He has a great wrestling background and is a world class athlete. Shelton has the ability to put on some great matches and carry superstars that may not have the ability to put on great matches, however his mic skills is the excuse the WWE uses not to give him a fair push, I mean come on look at people like Lashley, Batista and Jeff Hardy, their mic skills are far worse yet they get a bigger push than Shelto who is a better wrestler than them and even have better mic skills!
I will never get why WWE doesn't use Shelton Benjamin right, I believe he is one of WWE's best overall wrestlers and he should be used better than what he currently getting, I believe he is better as a singles competitor but is still a great tag team competitor as well. He and Haas should be tag team champions right now.
Shelton has the ability to be the next Shawn Micheals if given the chance and the push he deserves.
He has been voted as tag team of the year (with Charlie Haas) and as the 9th best wrestler in PWI, but worse wrestlers are constantly used in main events and wrestlers that have had their day are pushed!
In both of the previous Wrestlemainia's Shelton stole the money in the bank ladder match but failed to win. This proves that if given the chance he can shine. But staying true to form, the WWE doesn't look like they will be involving Shelton in this years money in the bank match.
If he doesn't get a big push in the next year, I'd advise Shelton to defect to TNA where his talents would be appreciated - he would rule the X-division!
