A very, very reliable member from the www.zap2it.com released market research on the test results of ABC's pilots. Here they are:

    EXCELLENT RESULTS
Dirty Sexy Money (High number indicated would watch again, likeable characters and stars)
Perfect Gentlemen (Great dials, many would watch again, sexy)
    Private Practice (Through the roof!)

    GOOD RESULTS
Cashmere Mafia (Funny, good characters, but boring at times)
Family of the Year (Funny, some of the cast wasn't liked)
The Middle (Skewed older, couple of actor problems)
Pushing Daisies (Audiences don't like at first, but many were surprised how much they liked it; good chemistry)
Sam I Am (People complained it wasn't funny but still loved the show)

    SO-SO
    Cavemen (Hit or miss jokes)
Eli Stone (Good ending, but weird and could drag at times)
    Football Wives (Being re-worked)
Marlowe (Audiences liked it as it went on, but many reported would not watch again; love the lead)
Nice Girls Don't Get... (Generally liked, skewed old)
Suspect (Generally liked, some couldn't follow plot)
Thick of It (Lots of laughs, but completely loved or hated)
    Women's Murder Club (Being re-worked)

    BAD
    The Call (Not funny, corny)
    Carpoolers (Characters not likeable)
The Hill (Audience didn't get it)
    Miss/Guided (Lame, corny, hokey)
Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Actors not liked, looked cheap)

    HATE
Judy's Got a Gun (Liked at first, but by end hated it; Hated lead character; will likely be re-worked)
Pushing Partner (Not funny, hated characters, annoyed)

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: Some of these are unfinished reels (meaning they watched rough, not fully edited versions of the pilot); still others were exposed only to snippets; and many times this information is used to re-work a pilot and make it better. We'll have a better idea of what it will stack up to be in the next couple of weeks as changes are made and full reports are submitted.

And then this is from www.pifeedback.com, who is also an insider and released some more info on the other nets pilot testing (the member is also in charge of the website and it associated with television critic, Mark Berman, and the website, www.mediaweek.com.

FOX- NEW AMSTERDAM is "slow", NURSES looks good

NBC- LIPSTICK JUNGLE, FORT PIT, and JOURNEYMAN look good, CHUCK isn't getting much heat, BIONIC WOMAN not so good

ABC- DIRTY SEXY MONEY looks amazing, JON FELDMAN, PUSHING DAISIES, and SUSPECTS all look good

CBS- BABYLON FIELDS and VIVA LAUGHLIN look good, DEMONS doesn't look so good

CW- GOSSIP GIRL, REAPER and WILD AT HEART will all probably go

This is what was posted today by the same person on pifeeback.com

    ABC

Hearing they will pick up 4 to 6 projects.

    HOT:
    1. PRIVATE PRACTICE (Grey's Spinoff) by Shonda Rhimes (ABC TV
Studios); This will definitely be on the air.
    2. DIRTY, SEXY, MONEY by Craig Wright (ABC TV Studios/Berlanti);
This show tested very well. The stars were easily recognizable for the
    audience.
    3. PUSHING DAISIES by Bryan Fuller (WBTV); ABC is very high on
this and it has gone over extremely well.
    4. PERFECT GENTLEMEN by Jon Feldman (WBTV); The pilot is not in
the best of shape, but it tested really well, with audiences really
liking the men. Hearing this is a McPherson favorite.
    5. MARLOWE by Pruss & Wolper (ABC TV Studios); Came in very strong
and ABC really likes this project. It didn't test great, but Jason
O'Mara is supposed to be great. They have ordered 2 more scripts.

    CLOSE TO HOT:
    1. FOOTBALL WIVES by Marco Pennette (ABC TV
Studios/Brancato-Salke); Hearing mixed reports. This tested very well
with women and only so so for the men. There could be some more work
done on this pilot, wouldn't be surprised to see it mid-season.
    2. CASHMERE MAFIA by Kevin Wade (Sony/Darren Star); Did not come
as well as they hope (They did a day of re-shoots), but no one is
counting it out. It tested so so , with the characters being the focal
    point of what people liked.
    3. ELI STONE by Greg Berlanti & Marc Guggenheim (ABC TV
Studios/Berlanti); This can never be counted out. Hearing the testing
results were mixed and that it viewed that way as well.

    WARM:
    1. SUSPECT by Ed Zuckerman (Sony/25c); Not hearing a lot about
this project, heard that it came in looking great.
    2. JUDY'S GOT A GUN by Robert & Michelle King (ABC TV Studios);
Came in better than they thought, but didn't test well at all.
    3. WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB by Craft & Fain (20th); This project must
have something good in it, because they did a day of re-shoots. They
    will view this week.

    COLD:
    1. MR. & MRS. SMITH by Simon Kinberg (Regency/Dutch Oven); Hearing
this did not turn out well or screen well at all.
    2. UNT. RINA MIMOUN (WBTV); Heard this pilot did not come in
strong and is not getting any sort of buzz.

Then later added that Perfect Gentlemen is hiring writers as well as Pushing Daisies and Marlowe is setting up directors.

I wouldn't put much into those. Lots of shows rated as hot last year weren't picked up. Friends was rated as D.O.A. after test audiences hated it, and looked what happened to that show.

I've also heard conflciting reports from various sources.

I've heard on Zap2It that Dirty Sexy Money will probably get Secrets Of A Small Town'ed. It's a good pilot with a good cast that the focus groups loved, but they'll pass on it anyway for a cheaper show that was slightly less liked by the audie

More than anything I want to see a Bryan Fuller show on the air next season so right now I'm crossing my fingers to the point of chafing for 'Pushing Daisies'. Dirty, Sexy, Money sounds interesting and could be a good pair for 'Brothers and Sisters'. I actually hated the way 'Private Practice' was introduced last Thursday but I think I would have liked it better were it a whole 45 minute episode instead of tedious two hours of intercuts between LA and Seattle. I feel that whatever opinion I have at the moment is not just so we'll see.

'Football Wives' if it's any good as the fabulously camp original could be a nice pair up with 'Ugly Betty'.

    I love upfronts season...

I'd like to see Mr. and Mrs Smith even if the test audiences hated it. Same with Demons.

And Here is some more stuff on CW and CBS from www.zap2it.om

    CBS

*Because of a lousy comedy crop, How I Met Your Mother is almost certainly to return along with a new Monday comedy, 2 1/2 Men, and Rules of Engagement. Old Christine will likely be a midseason entry and The ****is likely to be canceled.

*CSI: New York and Shark are likely going to move, and Cold Case may be returning to its old time period.

*As I shared before, in terms of water cooler buzz Swingtown will be the Desperate Housewives of CBS (likely headed to Wednesdays), Babylon Fields will likely be the Lost (likely headed to Fridays), and Los Duques will be the Sopranos (likely headed to Thursdays).

*It looks like Survivor is going to stay put.

*It looks like they might be offering an original show on Saturdays.

That's all I got. Now for the CW:

*Gossip Girl may be paired with VM on Tuesdays -- and now VM is looking decent for a full season order.

*Supernatural and Reaper may share a slot.

*Sundays could be all new with the African family show and Barnes taking over.

*Aliens may be the only new Monday comedy.

Good luck in making heads and tails of that. The CW, like NBC, is a mess. No one can figure out what to do with the schedules, and the lack of good pilots isn't helping.

    4. PERFECT GENTLEMEN by Jon Feldman (WBTV): The pilot is not in the best of shape, but it tested really well, with audiences really liking the men. Hearing this is a McPherson favorite. Word is show being given the right to make offers to writers.

    2. UNTITLED RINA MIMOUN (WBTV): Heard this pilot did not come in strong and is not getting any sort of buzz.

    CBS
Hearing they will pick up 3 or 4 pilots and, as expected, it's very quiet over there.

    HOT:
    1. LOS DUQUES by Cynthia Cidre (CBS Paramount/ABC TV Studios): Hear that they are in love with this pilot and that it looks amazing. Jimmy Smits and cast are great.
    2. BABYLON FIELDS by Atkinson & Cuesta (20th): Very happy with this pilot. Was in competition with Twilight but this project came in much much better.
    3. THE MAN by Anthony Zuiker (CBS Paramount); Came in better than expected and they are very pleased. Hearing this got a huge amount of response over at CBS.

    CLOSE TO HOT:
    1. SWINGTOWN by Mike Kelley (CBS Paramount): They really like this pilot but are not sure they can put it on air, rumors of it going to Showtime are floating around.
    2. PROTECT & SERVE by Gibson & Halpern/GST (NUTS): Came in well and has a good shot.

    WARM:
    1. SKIP TRACER by Burgess & Green (CBS Paramount): A very good pilot. Not hearing a ton of buzz but fits the CBS mold of what they do.
    2. VIVA LAUGHLIN by Bob Lowry (CBS Paramount/Sony/BBC Worldwide): The reviews on this have been very mixed, but heard some over at CBS really like the format.

    COLD:
    1. UNTITLED BARRY SCHINDEL (CBS Paramount): Have heard this did not come out well at all.
    2. DEMONS by Barbara Hall (CBS Paramount): Hearing this came in very poor and that it is not well liked.
    3. TWILIGHT by Munson & Koslow (WBTV/Silver): This did not come in great and, with Babylon Fields looking strong, this is very cold.

    FBC
Hearing they will pick up 4 to 5 pilots.

    HOT:
    1. SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES by Josh Freidman (WBTV): This will be their one sure thing to pick up. Heard it looks great and they are very excited about how it came together.
    2. APOSTLES by Chuck Pratt (20th): This came in much better than they thought and this is looking very good for a pick up.
    3. THEM by McNamara & Eick (CBS Paramount/Eick/Circle of Confusion): This came in very strong and has a lot of support.

    CLOSE TO HOT:
    1. NURSES by Goodman & Stern (20th): Hearing they really like this show and would be something a bit lighter for them to put on the air.
    2. K-VILLE by Jonathan Lisco (20th): This pilot is really starting to pick up some steam. Wouldn't be surprised if it got a pick up.

    WARM:
    1. THE CURE by Massett & Zinman (WBTV): Hearing that this is just ok for them. Wouldn't be surprised to see this move up.
    2. CANTERBURY'S LAW by David Erickson (Sony/Apostle): Again hearing this is ok. Wouldn't be surprised if they picked up another law show.

    COLD:
    1. NEW AMSTERDAM by Christian Taylor (Regency): Hearing this pilot does not look good and the pace of the show is incredibly slow.
    2. SUPREME COURTSHIPS by Gary Tieche (20th/Adelstein): Heard this pilot is a mess and not getting any buzz at all.
    3. NSA INNOCENT by Ehrman & Cochran (20th): Not a lot of buzz on this. That's why it made the cold list.

    CW

    HOT:
    1. GOSSIP GIRL by Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage (WBTV): This pilot looks great and is a great fit for their brand. Will be picked up.
    2. THE REAPER by Fazekas & Butters (ABC TV Studios/Mark Gordon): CW is very happy with this show and I am hearing a lot of good things about it.

    CLOSE TO HOT:
    1. UNTITLED SOUTH AFRICA by Michael Rauch (CBS Paramount/Company Pics): Heard this came in ok, but, given their needs, this should get a pickup.

    WARM:
    1. BARNES by Tom Wheeler (WBTV/****IV): This has come in so-so and not being talked about that much. However, it could easily move its way up.
    2. SPELLBOUND by Maggie Friedman (WBTV): Hearing mixed reviews on this pilot.

    COLD:
    1. PAIGE ARMSTRONG by Rod Lurie (ABC TV Studios/Battle Plan): Not hearing great things and it lacks a showrunner.

    NBC
The network with the most needs. Execs have screened everything.

    HOT
    1. BIONIC WOMAN (NBC Uni TV): Serious about.
    2. CHUCK (WBTV) Serious about.
    3. JOURNEYMEN (20th)
    4. LIPSTICK JUNGLE (NBC Uni TV): Slam dunk.
    5. UNTITLED DAVID SHORE SHOW (NBC Uni TV)

    WARM
    1. FORT PIT (Apostle/Sony)
    2. M.O.N.Y. (NBC Uni TV)

'Pushing Daisies' has been picked up!!!!! ))))

This is official news from thefutoncritic.com

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC is staying in "October Road" while "Notes from the Underbelly" has been given a second chapter.

In addition, 10 pilots - seven dramas ("Big Shots A.K.A. Perfect Gentlemen," "Cashmere Mafia," "Dirty Sexy Money," "Eli Stone," "Private Practice," "Pushing Daisies," "Women's Murder Club") and three comedies ("Carpoolers," "Cavemen," "Sam I Am") - have been issued series orders by the Alphabet.

Next season on ABC sounds so exciting!!! I was secretly keeping my fingers crossed for 'Women's murder club'

Utter desperation. ABC is dead in the comedy department, they're willing to try pretty much anything.

-Cavemen 7.00 – Love it or hate it, weird, caught on as screening continued.
-Dirty Sexy Money 9.08 – Funny, high number watch again, cast liked.
-Eli Stone 7.34 – Inspirational, cast liked, odd.
-Family of the Year 5.85 – Low re-watch, little laughs, cast issues.
-Big Shots 8.04 – Cast liked, some thought boring, concerning re-watch numbers.
-Football Wives 7.55 – Too campy, funny, cast issues, many would watch again.
-The Hill 7.05 – Many would re-watch, cast issues, funny, weird.
-Judy's Got a Gun 4.89 – Cheesy, cast issue (lead cold), seen as dumb.
-Marlowe 6.81 – Too weird, cast liked, not many would watch again.
-The Middle 6.99 – Funny, weird, cast issues.
-Miss/Guided 6.49 – Initially bombed, recut tested better, liked characters, middling re-watch numbers.
-Mr. and Mrs. Smith 3.62 – General bomb, hated leads, looked cheap.
-Nice Girls Get the Corner Office 6.24 – Not funny, cast liked, bad script.
-Private Practice 6.89 – Too campy, annoying, liked cast, high re-watch numbers.
-Pushing Daisies 8.92 – Well liked, cast liked, weird, most would re-watch.
-Sachs/Judah 5.89 – No strong feelings about any given element, low re-watch.
-Sam I Am 8.62 – Not funny, cast well liked, high re-watch, males liked.
-See Jayne Run 3.94 – General bomb (didn’t even like Heather Locklear).
-Suspect 3.25 – General bomb (especially confusing).
-Thick of It 6.58 – Love it or hate it, odd, smart, either thought was hilarious or completely idiotic.
-Traveling in Packs 5.89 – Too girly, not funny, appealing characters.
-Women's Murder Club 7.06 – Initially confusing, recuts liked better, odd re-watch numbers. Final NBC Test Numbers -Area 57 4.22 (Dumb, bad cast, not funny)
-Bionic Woman 4.18 (Looked cheap, unintentionally funny, one bright spot was cast)
-Business Class 6.07 (Mildly funny, skwed older, weird)
-Chuck 6.82 (Audience seemed to like, but hardly anyone would re-watch; some thought lead was creepy instead of charming)
-Fort Pit 6.42 (Audiences were somewhat bored, good acting)
-The I.T. Crowd 6.88 (Funny, appealing cast, weird, low re-watch)
-I'm with Stupid 3.01 (General disaster)
-Journeyman 8.13 (Intriguing, audience excited, skewed male)
-Life 7.22 (Audience generally entertained, many commented seemed 'smart' or 'classy')
-Lipsh*tz Saves The World 6.44 (Appealing cast, weak script, uneven humor)
-Lipstick Jungle 7.06 (Loved cast, sophomoric, bored at times)
-M.O.N.Y. 4.28 (Boring, preachy, hammy acting)
-Mastersons of Manhattan 5.03 (Weird, not funny, oddly paced)
-Wildlife 5.08 (No one seemed to get what was going on)
-Winters 6.04 (Liked characters, but no chemistry with cast and oddly paced)
-Zip 5.02 (Bland, audience bored, no re-watch value)

Its interesting that the highest rated drama on NBC was the scifi series, Journeyman, while ABC's fantasy series, Pushing Daisies, was the second highest tested drama. NBC seems to have had a really poor development season, which is why Lipstick Jungle, Life, and Journeyman (their three highest testing pilots) are most likely going to air in the fall (check NBC thread for updated schedule). But I dont see why they are so bent on picking up Bionic Woman, when its the lowest testing drama and was the most expensive drama to produce. Why not Winters (starring Famke Jannsen) or Fort Pit (from the makers of Rescue Me)? It seems like it would be less of an effort to retool those shows rather then Bionic Woman. And for ABC, the Grey's Anatomy spinoff might bomb as most audiences dont seem to enjoy it; the backdoor pilot (that aired during the special two hour Grey's Anatomy episode last week), received negative reviews from TVguide, New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Los Angeltes Times, the list goes on... I hope other shows such as Eli Stone, Women's Murder Club, Pushing Diasies, and Dirty Sexy Money all do better.

I'm looking forward to every show ABC picked up, drama wise. As for NBC, I can see why they'd pick up The Bionic Woman, but I think they're going to retool it heavily, right? For midseason? I think that's a good idea, it sounds very promising and if they can work out the kinks it could be successful. Fort Pit sounds dull. Winters is a House rip-off. And thank goodness M.O.N.Y. was a disaster because I cringed at the thought of it when it was announced as a pilot months ago.

If ABC lives up to all the credit I've been giving them since 2004-05 then they will realise they have to recut "Private Practice's" pilot episode and at the very least air it as a whole seperate episode. That or simply start with a fresh episode in LA as the official pilot of the series.

That backdoor pilot that aired a couple of weeks back not only distracted me from what could otherwise have been one of Grey's finest episodes this season, in and of itself it was weak and unappealing. I'd think long and hard whether to debut this in the fall or rather leave it for midseason and do some heavy conceptual retooling.

Mark my words, this series if not changed some could actually hurt "Grey's Anatomy" and speaking for myself, I would NOT want that to happen.
