A VARIETY SHOW! Eddie Murphy is the host of the show...he has a variety of guests and does skits, interviews, and has musical guests...Beyonce is his first musical guest. Queen Latifah and Kevin James are his first guest stars. Each week he has a variety of entertainment! It would be great!

Mine would be a sci-fi time travel drama/comedy primarily called "Timeless" about four teenagers and their adventures and misadventures in time. I'd do lots of character development and "moral" episodes that, I hope, would raise interesting questions and make people think. I'd explore how their hometown changed and evolved over time too. I think that would be cool. I'd have lots of cool guest stars like Patrick McGoohan, Robert Vaughn, Eli Wallach, John Mahoney and Jane Seymour. I'd also have Richard Dean Anderson as a regular cast member, as the main character's dad. That would be my dream TV project.

That's a cool idea, I'd actually like to see this show happen, sounds a bit like Doctor Who meets Dawson's Creek meets Saved By The Bell!

This is another good one that sounds intriguing, but I'd want to hear more about it first.

Just a word of caution people... If any of you are genuinely serious about going forward and further with your series ideas, whatever your age is, do NOT, post an idea on an online message board before protecting your own rights in the matter. I'm not insinuating anyone would steal an idea but this is by nature a most vulnerable medium and a simple act of copy paste could take away your idea and you'd never be able to legally claim it as your own. What to do then? This is the most basic way ANY writer can prove authenticity and protect themselves. They taught us that at University (I majored in screenwriting) 1. Print out your idea/synopsis/treatment/pilot script 2. Go to the post office 3. Send YOURSELF the manuscript via registered mail. Keep the tracking slip and the receipt/invoice you get at the post office. 4. When the package or envelope arrives, don't ever open it. Of course, for those of you old enough, you can join a guild or a union and have your ideas registered and copyrighted through them - that's what I do and it shouldn't cost too much money. Good luck with all your ideas and aspirations

Cool, you majored in screenwriting! Have you got your degree in it already? They told us the exact same thing in my creative writing group in College. It's a brilliant way to copyright your ideas and so simple. Have you written any screenplay's?

Title: MEET THE MURPHY'S (Working Title)

    Genre: Comedy/Drama hour long

Plot: Mags Murphy (57) and her husband Paddy (60) live in a rural area in Ireland and can't have any kids of their own so they adopt and foster children instead. They have 9 kids who have been adopted at birth or in their first year of life, Ciara (24/f), Barry (23/m), Doireann (21/f), Finn (20/m), Jess (20/f), Dani (18/f), Kieran (17/m), Mary (16/f) and Nigel (12/m). They are also fostering 4 kids, Mark (17/m), Agnus (17/f), Rory (8/m) and Shaun (5/m).

All 15 of them live in a 5 bedroomed house, with only 1 bathroom and there is also many pets living in the house. The adopted kids and the two younger kids get on great with each other, but Mark and Agnus hate everyone, especially each other. Everyone has there own problems to deal with as well as trying to live in a mad house bursting at the seems, where even the bathroom can't be a private place. Mags and Paddy are trying to find ways of saving their house when Paddy loses his job and can't afford to pay the mortgage anymore, but they don't want the kids to know. Ciara is the level headed primary school teacher, who is being harrassed at work by a male co-worker. Barry is the successful bank manager who is trying to think of a way to propose to his girlfriend, Celeste. Doireann is the art student, who is also a human rights activist and vegetarian in her spare time. Finn and Jess are twins, Jess is the more ambitious one of the two and spends most of her time studying, but can be a party girl when she wants to be, Finn on the other hand wants to party all the time and has recently dropped out of college, but doesn't want his parents to know, so he goes to college anyway and spends most of his day in the bar or getting stoned with his mates, but despite his faults, Finn is the most protective of his family and will always be there to comfort them or stand up for them in times of need. Dani is still in school and suffers from depression and often attempts suicide, but the rest of her family have failed to notice this. Kieran is your average jock, who plays every sport his school offers and many other sports outside school, basically his life revolves around sport and nothing else. Mary is the sweet, innocent one who generally spends her time helping out around the house or on the phone with her friends. Nigel is the geeky one, who can tell you absolutely everything there is to know about dinosaurs, trains, cars, clocks and pretty much anything else you want to know about, the downside to this is, that Nigel ha no friends and is the victim of bullying in school. Mark (who's been living with the family for only a few months) is a school bully with a chip on his shoulder and is also the town pyromaniac. Agnus (who's been living with the family for 3 years) cares about her looks and nothing else, she is a proper b**ch but all the guys in school are in love with her and the girls follow her around like sheep. Rory (who's been living with the family for 2 years) is your average eight year old boy, he likes climbing trees, playing with toy guns and pulling girls' hair, he gets in trouble at school for using bad language and bringing living creatures into the classroom. And then there's Shaun (who's been living with the family for a year and a half) is the cute one, who has a tendency to stick crayons up his nose.

The show is fast paced, with comical moments, but mostly focuses on the family dramas.

    Genre: Reality
     A Big Brother/Real World clone

Participants would consist of a variety of personalities i.e.  Stern show wack-pack types such as Beetlejuice, Wendy the retard High Pitch Eric or you could glean through the Auditions for American Idol like the blonde with the smeared red lipstick or monkey boy and the Special Olympics kid...put about 12-15 of these characters in a house and let them compete for immunity et al. This would be a BIG Ratings grabber...people who say they wouldn't watch...are LYING!
Definitely a FOX (probably not) show or any Cablenet looking for some major numbers like VH-1 and their I love New York Show.

My pitch would be "Welcome To My Funeral". It is a story based on one badass character who is watching his own funeral take place. There are only 7 people present-6 males and 1 female. They are all glad he is dead. As he narrates the intro, we realise that one of these seven is the murderer. The show goes back a number of years and looks back on his life, the role of these 7 people in his life and the final lead up to his death-or maybe he isn't dead. Up to the writers to decide that one. Anyway, this whole story is based on the current CD I am writing and recording as a follow up to our debut Australian CD Emotional Asylum's Patient 7772. We have a whole number of song titles/themes and musical ideas. Our debut Cd was based on the true story of a mental patient we interviewed and befriended. He inspired us to base our lyrics and music on his story. We lost contact with the patient as his true identity was never revealed to us. So here is a record on somebody we cannot find and we continue to ask "Who is Patient 7772 ?". If you are interested in our story, check us out on www.hardaxe.net/EMOTIONAL

Maybe you caught our 30 min interview and promo on Texas net station 101netrock. Leave us a message on our site.

A kind of reverse West Wing show - a linguistically-challenged Republican President in the pay of the Communist Party of the Peoples Republic of China embarks on a course to embarass the hell out of his country and render it impotent in the early 21st century. Finally, at the end of season 2 his own supporters turn on him and a happy ending is assured.

Complete fantasy, I know. Just like The West Wing.
