I could have sworn that the MIR Space Station is still in orbit but according to the show the correct answer was the Hubble Telescope.  If it is true what is the name of the Space Station that the Astronauts go to?

The current venue in orbit is called the "International Space Station," ISS for short.

MIR came flaming down in June of 2005 in the south pacific. Skylab came down in the 70's in Australia.

What bothered me more about her reasoning was her confusion of over "in outer space" and "in orbit" What a wad of change she would have had if she had only gone with her first instinct.
