My boyfriend and I are both big fans so we were happy to see it come back. I wasn't able to stay up last night to watch but I did dvr it and we plan to watch it later tonight. I never understood why it was so poorly rated either, I don't think its any worse than some of the crap they show regularly on the major networks.

I think it's pretty great. I think it's ignored for the same reason I like it: It doesn't try too hard. Everything else that's even remotely similar tries so hard to be funny that it falls flat. But 10 Items or Less, however, doesn't try to be more than it is. But what it is is a simple little concept that plays on well-acted personalities and relationships.

I kind of blame the network for the ratings as TBS is really big on the New Comedy Show on TV. So not many people will take notice of it, but it is starting to rub off on me. Still got in my mind that It's Always Sunny in Phildelphia is better, but I don't know why I think of that when I watch 10 Items or Less. Just weird.

I agree on blaming TBS, I didn't see them advertise the show at all last season, I liked it during the first season and missed it completely last season because I didn't know it was on.

It's moreso because of the fact that it's on cable. Also, people hardly hear about it or have no idea that it exists.

I like the show but it's relatively unknown. I don't know of any other person around me that actually knows about it. The first two seasons of episodes total to only about half an ordinary show's season so there isn't much out there for people to get to know the show. TBS would probably have to run marathon of all past shows to build a following.

I don't know why anyone would hate the show. It is true that some of the writing is a kind of acquired taste. Somewhat like Monty Python, The Office and others. The ad lib twist sets this show apart from others that fit into this mold.
