What do you get when you stick four comedians in a live environment without direction or a well rehearsed scrip??? You get this mess! Jimmy Carr is perfectly at home getting laughs from lines written by Frankie Boyle, David Mitchell knows how to work with repetitive characters and Charlie Brooker is excellent when being spiteful and quickly edited. But when their put into a show which doesn't know what it wants to be (is it hard hitting politics or comedic sniping)? I don't know and nor do the producers and by the example shown in this episode. Either way it just shows the limitations of the writing, direction and shows how out of their depths the presenters are.
This needs to be canceled and replaced with a panel show, which would better suit the so called talent on show here.moreless
