Lucky's plot to escape from the house through the chimeny was not very well thought out. The chimeny is really tall, so there is no way the main pups would have been permitted to get up that high if they stacked up on one another. Adding on, how did Lucky expect to get Rolly and Cadpig out of there if he didn't have a rope with him?
While Lucky is holding Cadpig over the toilet, Rolly's pupils are colored blue rather than their usual black.
When the pups are looking up the chimeny, all three of them walk into the fireplace, but when the camera shifts to outside the fireplace, only Rolly is in the fireplace, but Lucky and Cadpig are suddenly outside of it.
How did some of the pups survive from a high leap off the combine?
When Lucky says "I've got an idea!", his collar appears, despite the fact that Cruella snatched their collars earlier.
Cruella: Welcome wagon! A special cake for my new neighbors! Roger (reading the cake): Happy Bar-Mitzvah, Howard?! Cruella: Well, it's the only thing they had at that old donut shack up in Grutely.
Cadpig: I'm hungry; both physically and spiritually. I still miss my friends.
Cruella: I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.
Lucky: Who cares about the food? I'm just glad we're home. Rolly: I care about the food!
Cadpig: I gotta work on my underlying hostility.
Rolly: I'm getting a cramp here! Cadpig: I'm getting a cramp too! A big giant smile cramp!
Lucky: (on being covered in soot) This feels very familiar.
Cadpig (while struggling over the weight of her brothers): Shouldn't I have been on top?
Lucky: You get cable? Mooch: What's cable?
Cadpig (speaking towards a couple cows): Hello. My name is Cadpig, and you two are, cows! (Cadpig then puts nametags on their noses that say "cow") Nametags will help us bond in a friendly yet functional fashion.

The Series Premiere.
Cruella: I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. This is a reference to the movie Airplane, where the character Steve Mccrosky keeps saying things like "I picked the wrong week to quit smoking/amphetamines/sniffing airplane glue".
When Lucky comments on being covered in soot looking like a Labrador Retriever, he is making a reference to the original Disney's 101 Dalmatians movie from 1961.
In '101 Dalmatians 2: Patch's London Adventure', the plot involving the Dearlys moving into their new home on the farm was borrowed from this episode.
The title of this episode is a play on the old saying, 'home is where the heart is'.
