When Cadpig overreacts over meeting Fillibuster and says, "I take over the world!", when the camera shifts behind Cadpig, her collar is missing.
The mall in which this episode takes place in is the Stiffle Mall. The main pups talked about going to the Stiffle Mall in the episode, "Frisky Business". However, in that episode, Spot explained that they needed transportation to get to Stiffle since it was miles away, but in this episode, they managed to get there easily on foot.
When the Dalmatians emerge from the trash can, Lucky's collar is blue, despite the fact that it shouldn't be that color.
Lucky: Anybody got any ideas?
Cadpig: Well, we could humbly confess, beg for mercy, and then, blame you for getting us into this mess!
Lucky: That's not a good idea.
Spot: Pug will hunt us down like animals!
Cadpig: We are animals.
Cadpig: (reading a map) It says, "You are here."
Rolly: How do they know it's us?
Lucky: They have their ways.
Cadpig: One lump or two?
Pug: I'll give you some lumps!
Lucky: I get it now! This way on the map is that way in the mall.
Rolly: So, does that mean that up is down and down is up?
Cadpig: Good bye, happy face. Hello, sad face.
The music theme in the mall was later used in Doug's 1st Movie when Doug and Skeeter are in the mall.
Brian F. Mars and Dominick Certo won the 1998 Golden Reel Award for "Best Sound Editing - Television Animation - Music" for this episode.
The President's dog in this episode was named Filibuster.
This is the second time the pups decided to go to Stiffle.
Pug: I hate the smell of perfume in the morning.
This is a play on the line "I love the smell of napalm in the morning", from the film Apocalypse Now.
When the pups and Pug are in the toy store, you can see a doll of Cowboy Woody from Toy Story.
