Lucky's ears appear white towards the end of "Rolly's Eggcellent Adventure".
Spot: WATERFALL!!!
Lucky: Who put a waterfall there?
Spot: I've gotta work on my will power.
Cadpig: I always said Rolly would make a great teacher. I just never believed it.
Cadpig: What is a dog? What is a chicken? Does anyone ever really know?
Lucky: Uh-oh, you broke them!
Cadpig: Hello! Reality check! They're hatching!
Rolly: Hatching? Wait a minute, that wasn't in my deal!
Lucky: He hasn't even been sitting on those eggs for a minute, and he's already talking to himself!
Cadpig: It's a downward spiral.
Lucky: So what's the panic?
Spot: We need somebody to take care of Mom's eggs while they're gone!
Lucky: Oh, gee, look at the time. I really should be in the house chasing my tail.
Cadpig: Spring already? Only 200 more shopping days 'til Christmas!
Rolly: I'll do it.
Lucky & Cadpig: You? (they laugh)
Rolly: Hey, all it takes is sitting, and I had plenty experienced that.
Cadpig: Rolly, don't take this the wrong way, but you are to responsibility like memoir is to ping pong!
Rolly: And what's that supposed to mean?
Lucky: It means you're not the egg-sitting type.
(The baby chicks start chasing one another in a circle around Cornelia, much like how dogs act)
Cornelia (to Rolly): Where'd they learn that?
Cadpig: It just goes to show ya, an old dog can teach new chicks!
(Cadpig and Cornelia laugh)
This episode marks the first appearance of Peeps.
The title "Rolly's Egg-Celent Adventure" is a parody of the 1989 movie, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.
Rolly: Get back! Get back! Get back to where you once belonged!
This is the refrain from "Get Back", a 1969 Beatles song.
