The episode title, 'Over the Line' is a word pun to the movie, Walk the Line (2005) about the chronicle of country music legend Johnny Cash's life, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded alongside Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.
Over the line refers to going too far. The line is like the limit, and once you are over it you've gone too far, or something is seriously wrong. The title for this episode is probably referring to the fact that Adena and her boss are becoming friends.
