When Cassidy lets Cody know about her involvement in encouraging Adena about her crush on her tennis coach, Cody was mad that Cassidy encouraged Adena for Adena is sensitive and easily influenced by her emotions. Cody may have been thinking about Adena's rash judgment from the first incident in 1x8, Mixed Up Doubles when Adena thought that Sebastian was interested in her, when in fact, he was interested in Megan.

There's a scene where Tanis is standing at the Brentwood, practicing to hit the ball. You see that her hair is in a neat ponytail. Then Cody comes to talk to her. When the camera faces Tanis again, her ponytail is messy with strands of hair coming out. The same scene Cameron's voice can be heard laughing but he never appears on screen in the scene.

When , you can see that Cody is wearing a red beaded necklace. The camera shifts to Cameron, who catches the two. Cody stands up and you can see that the necklace is gone. Then the camera shifts to Squib, and when it shifts back to Cody, the necklace is back on her neck.

Through the scene of flashbacks you can see Coach Gunnerson, Meghan, and Sebastien. Who are all from season 1.

This episode contradicts itself as it has someone smart and someone athletic break up, and it's said they don't work. Then it has someone smart and someone athletic get together, and it's said they are a perfect match.

The song that was played when Cody got on the bus was entitled, "Symphonic" by Emm Gryner.

Joining the cast mid-season is Amanda Crew (Tanis McTaggart) and Nwamiko Madden (Cameron White)

Adena goes through the Five Stages of Grief in order to cope with Meghan's death, her childhood friend, provoked when it came to Tanis being Adena's new roommate: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance.

Since there is two spots vacant in the A-group with the result of Sebastien and Meghan's death, Squib and another member from B-group (with the highest rank within the group) should have moved up to A-group automatically.

Sunny's apparent crush on Sebastien is more apparent in this episode: she wanted to pair up with Sebastien, not because of his skills in tennis, but because in mixed doubles it is a chance for the girls and boys to interact with each other.

Though we find out that Sunny has a crush on Sebastien, she also has a soft spot for Squib. He had rescued her public image in episode 1x02, so she repays him by pairing up with him in this episode.

We find out that Cody is the only one at Cascadia that knows the truth about Sebastien - that he is in fact poor.

We find out in episode 1x12, 'Squib Inc' Sunny is number one player in Cascadia, followed by Adena. Sunny is also the youngest athlete in Cascadia.

Everyone at Cascadia is Canadian, except Sebastien, as according to President Bates, Sebastien is a transfer student from Paris, France. This also holds true in real life, where all the cast members are Canadian except Vadim, who is from Paris, France.

We find out that Cody is a new student without athletic reasons to be at Cascadia - but rather her father is the new psychiatrist on campus.

We find out that Cody does not live with the rest of Cascadia. She and her father live in separate quarters from the campus.
