Show Summary

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is an MSNBC news talk show hosted by David Shuster that features relevant discussion of current topics in American politics by a rotating panel of informed experts that includes Pat Buchanan, Harold Ford Jr., Rachel Maddow, Eugene Robinson, Joe Scarborough, Michael Smerconish, and Chuck Todd. In March of 2008, MSNBC launched a news series called Race for the White House, a show hosted by David Gregory who chronicled the events leading up to the 2008 Presidential Election. Following the election, Gregory moved on to become the new host of NBC's Meet the Press, and Shuster took over this series which became a more traditional news talk show. This show is perfect for avid followers of politics, as each episode deals with current issues and shares the many different viewpoints of the panelists. 1600 Penn Avenue is an informative news series that aired between November of 2008 and April of 2009.
