  • Guess who's back? Back again.

I love the episode specially the joke about attachment parenting which is a very touchy subject anyway, I love how Max referenced Game of Thrones for this. Oleg, Sophie and the gang are all back with their signature brand of comedy. I also like the part when Max flirted with Caroline's dad, I know that's pushing the envelope but it paid off. And also Sophie making that awkward sounds during the auction, well I laughed out loud. Good premier per se, looking forward for a wonderful season.moreless
  • The girls are BACK! And so is Oleg!

You know that feeling that you have the day after the Emmy's, that Monday when the new season starts and with that comes, that awesome comedy block on CBS?! Well, there's no better way to start the season with CBS' comedies including the sophomore '2 Broke Girls'.

They're back with those dirty jokes that give just enough spice to make this one of the best comedies on air. Earl does his part with just two sentences, enough to consider him one of the greatest arms of this show. And let's just say how great idea was bringing Sophie's character on the show. That gave Oleg more space to show 'his side' and take the attention from the girls.

The episode was one of the greatest. We got to know Caroline's dad, and that new dude on the auction was pretty funny too. Almost every scene, except maybe that filthy scene in the beginning, was absolutely hilarious. Max's dialogue in the jail, both times; Caroline getting introduced as a few celebrities on the auction, were the icing on the cake. It's becoming a great show and getting its fan base among the viewers. I'm really looking forward to come back for more.moreless

  • QUOTES (12)

    • Max: Look Hamish, I know have no interest in what I would normally offer you to get what I want.
      Hamish: Don't be so sure. I was bi-sexual till I was 62.

    • Max: What does a loving cup look like? Is it like a bowling trophy?
      Caroline: How dare you!

    • Martin Channing: There's one thing at that auction that I really care about, that I want you to have.
Caroline: What? The painting of me as a baby? The sculpture of me as a 5 year old? The tapestry of me at 14?
Max: I have a pretty good police sketch of me at 7.

    • Martin Channing: Wait, this can't be Max. From the stories I've heard I was expecting more of a truck driver. (to Police officer.) Hey Brian, you might wanna look the other way, I think Max is here to break me out. That right Max?
      Max: (giggles) Martin Channing!

    • Max: Wow, this prison is a lot better than the last one. It's more like a country club! I mean I think I saw a list for mixed doubles where we signed in.
Caroline: Max, I know your idea of a country club is an abandoned car in the woods, but look around. There's security cameras and bars on the windows.
Max: Alright, so it's a rough country club. Where the strongest golfers make the caddies their bitch!
Caroline: Max, my father's in prison. Be more sensitive and stuff!

    • Auctioneer: 200, going once, going twice, sold!
      Max: Yes! I'm rich!
Caroline: Did you just say "I'm"?!
Max: I think you're hearing me wrong!

    • Auctioneer: Next item for auction, a 19th century ivory and gold bedside table.
Sophie: (moans in pleasure) Say it again!
Auctioneer: This is highly unorthodox, but I shall repeat the item. A 19th century gold and ivory bedside table.
Sophie: (moans in pleasure again, louder than before.)

    • Max: Look, if it's any consolation, I now see how that could have happened to him. I'm not condoning it, but I see how people can get caught up. Cuz I am pissed as hell that next week I wont be ridding a horse who's ridding a jet ski!

    • Max: $60,000? That's like a million dollars!

    • Oleg: How nice is this? We are finally on a romantic date. We just came from lunch at rainbow room, and I'm wearing my best tracksuit.
Sophie: Now he's gonna buy me something golden. Yea, I want to be covered in gold. I want a golden shower!

    • Caroline: I think you have a unique sense on style, you do so much with so little fabric.
      Sophie: I do.

    • Max: One for me and one for my friend... Zooey Deschanel. What? You look like her!
Caroline: Everybody does. It's the least expensive look you can do and still get laid.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • After getting the bedside table at the auction, Hamish says "Y.O.L.O." This is an acronym for the term 'You Only Live Once'.

    • When Max tells Hamish McDonough that Caroline is Katie Holmes, he says "We wont speak of it. But I just have to say, well done!"

This is a reference to Katie filing for divorce from husband Tom Cruise while he was out of town. She also requested primary custody of their daughter, which she was granted. It is rumored that Katie blindsided Tom with the divorce, which is what Hamish means by "well done."
