    It was ironic that the episode as a whole was as unfunny... and sometimes as groanworthy... as Earl's son. Lost was the focus on the girl's striving for success and a better life. Lost was the focus on their world. Lost was emphasis on their own personal lives. Much as I love the character of Earl, this episode was not even about really expanding that character and its life. This season has been wandering so far, and I hope it finds its way back home soon to get back on the path it originally took in the first place.moreless

      Caroline: Oh my god, Max, we're approved! We've just been approved!
      Max: What!? What is wrong with them, does Dairy Queen report nothing!? Get back on there and disapprove us!

    • Max: (about Earl's son, Darius) He is not a customer, look at him, don't you see the resemblance!?
      Caroline: Oh my god! Is he your father?
      Max: Yes. He is my father, and my mother is a piece of chalk!

    • Earl: Hold up Darius, how'd all this happen?
      Darius: Well, I mean, I knew a guy at Cadillac, who knew a guy at Toyota, who knew a guy at Subaru, who sold the club owner a Dodge. Then he hit a kid with it! The kid should have dodged! You gotta laugh!
      Han: There's a dead kid in the mix and we gotta laugh!? (leaves)
      Max: It's not his fault he's not funny. We put his sense of humor on a high shelf.

    • Darius: I already have my stage name, Darius the Hilarious. I think it's a good choice, right?
      Han: Is it?
      Max: Well, obviously Big D, we will all be there to support you.
      Han: Will we!?
