It was ironic that the episode as a whole was as unfunny... and sometimes as groanworthy... as Earl's son. Lost was the focus on the girl's striving for success and a better life. Lost was the focus on their world. Lost was emphasis on their own personal lives. Much as I love the character of Earl, this episode was not even about really expanding that character and its life. This season has been wandering so far, and I hope it finds its way back home soon to get back on the path it originally took in the first place.
